When you talked about the R part, it kind of reminded me of the relationships that Howard Roark formed (from the book "The Fountainhead"), especially when he opened his own firm. The relationships between him and his employees (and also between the employees themselves) being built on mutual respect of what each one is actually capable of doing, their actual skills and capabilities, respecting each other for it. I'd recommend anyone to read the book. Anyhow, an awesome video of an amazing character I respect.

I've never heard of "The Fountainhead" before but if the main character is anything like Barou then I'm sure I'll love it lol. It's interesting to me to see how relationships are more than just "who's nice to me" but it's built on respect more than anything.

@@TheLiberatedOtaku If I had to compare him with a character from Blue Lock, the closest one is probably Noel Noa, as he is extremely cold, knows what he wants from life and gets it.

hes my favourite character i like to think of him as the philosophy of "hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard"

Yea Barou is up there for me too. Honestly I feel like Isagi is a better example for the "hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard" argument. The reason being is that Isagi was always viewed as average and had to work 2x as hard as the other blue lockers to get to where he's at.
BUT as the King himself, Barou to me is a character that represents what happens when you stop doubting yourself and go all in on what you can do.

Barou isn't about hw beats talent rather no matter how talented individual is hard work is necessary to achieve your goals. Bro is build different still works his ass of every day, to prove he's way is right one and it's takes enormous amounts of egoism to keep progressing with this kind of mindset over wise is all gonna crumble
