Gut-wrenching & emotionally upsetting to watch Owen battling thru his intense injury like such a focused & dedicated warrior. Difficult not to be worried but it's obvious his will is tremendous & strong.
It was a tough year... this was just the first of three injuries. Two significant... after this dislocated kneecap, he sprained his other MCL the week he returned, and then had to wrestle in the state series with a separated rib. You're right in that he is focused, dedicated, and has a strong will. :)
What I said was, "I told him he's got a whole season to think about". I'm not sure if you're calling him selfish for continuing or trying to make some other point. But if you're worried about the team, his decision to continue had no impact on his return timeline.

Hope Owen gets better and didn't further injure anything, the pain on his face said a lot.
Owen was in a lot of pain. They should have stopped that match.😡
Tough loss.
These jujitsu kids need to pick a sport
Ok.. come on now… this did not deserve an INJ warning. I know we love Owen… but stop the cap.
I take it you've never dislocated a kneecap...
"I told him he's got a whole team to think about." That's the kind of selfish thinking that isn't helpful.
