    I was die hard fan of four strokers, until I had a chance to drive 125yz. From that day on, 2 stroke only. Still love thumpers, but for Enduro/mx? Two stroke to the end 😁😍

    The main problem newcomers try to do with this bike. Is running in the upper rpm range. You should be lugging this bike in third gear at the speed you're going. Maybe second gear into a corner and feather the Clutch for second. But then right into third unless you really need the giddyup. It will give you weigh smoother response. Until you're actually ready to open it up. You can just lug the bike and it won't stall out or anything.

    The air time you get is how I feel when I hit a baby jump and get a few feet off the ground 😂

      Honestly man, air is air, whether it's 100ft or 5ft. Nothing beats the feeling of sending your bike whether it's way high up or a tiny jump!!! 😂🙌✔

    i had my first ride of a yz 250 2 stroke yesterday and jesus they are fast when your riding them you cant compare a 2 stroke to 4 💨 to powerful for me if anything but my kxf 250 was good

    Hey man what GoPro are you using? In trying to get a better one for filming..

    • @mxoudi
      @mxoudi  ปีที่แล้ว

      I'm using the gopro hero 9! But in all honesty I would look into the Osmo action camera. My friend has one and its amazing. I myself may get one. It's got Good quality and the mic sounds stellar. The magnetic mount is sweet too and it seems like a great camera so far. And no need for an expensive mic adapter. Gopro is kinda trash, they've been using the same processor since the 4th generation and even their newest model is loaded with issues like overheating and black screening. Even my gopro hero 9 has had its fair share of issues and I've lost countless golden footage due to random corruption and crashing. Same with MANY other friends of mine who lost audio or footage at random times. Their app is also garbage and so is their user interface. I honestly hate this thing lmfaoo. Save yourself the heartache and look into getting the Osmo camera. Any company that has had 11 generations to make a quality product, yet continues to output trash isn't worthy of money. Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk 💀 💀 😂

    Haha yeah the first time on a 250 2 stroke is crazy. The powerband is like no other bike smaller than it. The front wheel just want to come up. My 02 kx250 scares the crap outta me. The pros play with them like its a toy lol

    • @mxoudi
      @mxoudi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you ever get the chance to ride a yz426f or a tight 450 you’ll feel the same thing. Gotta love it!

  • @fishtailfuture
    @fishtailfuture 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Your four stroke would stall out and have weekpower in third gear on this track. But on the two stroke that's what you should've been doing. Third gear would give you the smooth low torque power band that you're looking for. But you gotta be careful cause it will hit eventually. You should've been doing this track and third gear almost the entire time even when you think you should downshift you shouldn't. The two-stroke fires on every single cylinder pump and so you can lug the bike Welo and get a lot of torque. Most people from for strokes don't realize that so they're always trying to keep the engine way raft out and it's uncontrollable at that point. At least at the speed you're going.

    • @mxoudi
      @mxoudi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I see what you're saying!
      I've got this fear of stalling when I slow down. and end up downshifting really hard.
      Thanks for the tip!

    • @storm5013
      @storm5013 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mxoudi He's right you definitely want to be pretty much a gear higher everywhere and if you need the instant power out of a loamy corner you just tap the clutch. Also your fear of stalling probably comes from your cornering technique. You seem to be tunnel visioning on whatever berm or rut you want to ride and you enter it standing the bike straight up with really slow entry speed. I'd recommend coming into corners a bit hotter with your eyes far infront of you (not right infront of the wheel), and start leaning the bike over before you get into whatever berm or rut you want to ride and you'll find you won't need to downshift as much.

    • @mxoudi
      @mxoudi  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@storm5013 I see! I shall give that a try! Sitting down mid corner and giving it gas helped alot, but there's a couple other pieces to the puzzle I'm missing & I think what you said will help 🤘

      @@mxoudi It's truly a blast although you will need to re tighten your spokes after each ride and have a new set of wheel berrings if you rip the paddle long enough,that was what I experienced anyway but it was all worth it.In fact a paddle is less expensive than most other tires.Never the less have fun no matter what you riding on my friend.
