To answer your question: SMTLT - Antimental Broken By The Scream - Sayonara Birthday Hanabie - Pardon me, I have to go now From those three, definitely the most shocking, to me at least, was Broken By The Scream
They made a fantastic comeback with this song, I'm so excited about what the may bring us in the future. OK, three groups (besides STMLT): Hanabie: Be The Gal (to name a song that was not previously named) Atarashii Gakko: Tokyo Calling (not metal, still great) Ladybaby: Nippon Manju (old but so funny)
I like this direction and changes with the band, STMTL were good. Just wish the hardcore and screaming stuff is 70℅ more than the cleans. By the way bro you may want to check out KOAI - Come see me [MV Mix]🤘 Edit: They're on Spotify
Stemi came back stronger and better than ever!! I'm so glad I hadn't lost my belief in them in their down times. And yes, all their songs including this new one are on Spotify. The three Japanese all female rock/metal bands that left me floored are: 1. ZONE with 'H.A.N.A.B.I.' 2. LOVEBITES with 'Shadowmaker' 3. STMLT with 'TWILIGHT'. Thanks for the reaction, man! 🤘🏼🔥🤘🏼
@@spicybentvreacts they were an old band, circa 2000s, and they were just a pop rock idol band kind a thing, so don't expect heavy music like this. But all their songs are catchy and can make you feel good. I am a big fan of the band. Totally worth checking out!
Listening first time to Hanabie "Pardon, I have to go" made me go "wow". Now also this one. Cannot name third.. They are on Spotify, this single too. And this single is the first one with 3 new members: drummer, keyboards, and rap/growls singer, so you probably did not "forget she can scream too" but never knew as the rest of us..
@spicybentvreacts been watching the group in youtube for a while since they released the twilight song. So story goes they fought over tension in the group because one of the girls was really immature 🙄. also one of them felt they were not beautiful enough to be in the group. She got a lot of bad feedback. So she left the * 🎷 saxophonist . The original death voice left because she was the youngest and also the most immature in the group. Often started the fights between other members. Her and the original drummer left in June. But it's all good they rehired new members and are now a taking there music in a more serious direction and are actually doing more tours in Japan from October to January. So if you wanna see them live before they blow up big go to Japan for Vacation. Tickets for a show are around 4000 ¥
If they focused more on the music instead of youtube. They could make more songs. However youtube is how they generate income for gigs. And recording songs. They are a independent label so financially they don't have enough to be big stars yet. But they are probably going to be soon if they stay focused. Them losing three members was a wake up call for the band. So now they want to go all out.
Top 3 wow factor on 1st watch/listen Hanabie We Love Sweets Nemophila Dissension Dreamcatcher Deja Vu Wish for more songs by StMLt, got to know about them from Twilight. Antimental is a total banger..
They came back heavier than before. They lost their sax player and more recently their drummer and keyboardist/screamer. The screamer, keyboardist and drummer are new since EVOL AI. They also surpassed 500K subs last weekend. My top three with the wow factor on first listen were Babymetal Megitsune, DOLL$BOXX Take My Chance and Nemophila Dissension.
If we go outisde of Japan or "typical" Asia, there is a very-under-radar all-female band from Russian Siberia with lead singer from Yakutia (kind of Asia) called Lead Horizon that made me go "wow" with their Fuckboys (in English) song. They do not really have MVs, better first listen from Spotify, can check live performance "Lead Horizon - Fuckboys - Live at Подземка - Новосибириск - 01.06.2024" but the sound is not very good there.. Correction: they did make one MV, to a recent song "Neversatisfied" - quite unique as well
If not familiar, check Chinese band Sixiwanzi, "Shu Han Dynasty". First listen probably did not gave me the full wow effect, but was enough to immediately put them on my close follow list
Thanks for the react!
Love your music!

I didn;t realize they had a member change. That is very interesting.

The new growler is much better than the other one who just used autotuned backtracks and didn't really say anything.

Have the members that left begun a new band project?
@@spicybentvreacts The sax player went back to college. The drummer and keyboardist left to pursue their modeling careers.
@ramair3judge Megitsune is great but Babymetal is not an all-female band, girls are only the front
@@HarveyAnk yes she did, and she was taking a college entrance exams and all. You're right about her being in an idol group now, though.
