SMBZ-G Mod Tutorial - How to Add New Skins

ngl i hope some day in a future custom characters become a thing, cant wait to add smbz DX abilities to characters or entirely new characters (even if they aren't from smbz, i already modded seelkadoom in a game so i could do the same here)

Have you tried to make a different mod with Sonic or Shadow (like Super Sonic 3, Aeon, Silver)?

I do not make mods myself, but if you want to, you can go to the game's discord server (check description) where people upload their mods. There is an Aeon mod for shadow and a Silver mod for Axem Rangers

Question, are we able to change the sprites completely? (Same format, but it’s just goku) (i wanna have a goku that transforms into a ssjg)

You can edit the sprites any way you want, although there is a limit, if the sprite is too big, it will get cut off by the game and not shown. The only two characters that transform are Mario and Luigi, you would need to see how to fit a goku sprite so it does not get cut off too much

..imma add myself in as shadow, but the problem will be that i need to convert a .sprite3 file (scratch sprite file) into a spritesheet png.
what can i use (other than piskel or any other apps) for this?

I don't know if Windows 11 works too different from 10, but it should not be so hard, the tutorial is mostly moving files and editing a notepad

Idk if this is the right place to ask but what program can you use to edit sprites sheets?

I use Paint.net, then use the color replacer tool to change all the sprite at once (for example, changing the blue of Sonic to green) but i do not know how to do actual new sprites because im no artist

@@Masgui. I managed to do it. Just when in smbz-mods click left-button mouse on skin, right-button mouse then choose option save graphic as. That's all. Remember to change .png name before you save. But if not just save

eeh no se si quedaria bien poner una lista de mods aleatorios, voy a hacer videos de los que la comunidad del juego vaya haciendo (la del grupo de Discord en la descripción), si queres podes mirar ahí ya que ese es el lugar de donde van a salir todos los mods basicamente
