So good! Both beautiful and thrilling! Definitely the pinnacle of the soundtrack. Dammit! I wanted it so much back in the days... And a used copy has become so rare and pricey by these days! Despite its many flaws, I truly loved the atmosphere and ideas behind this game. Maybe because I love underwater horror stories... This game was really above average, when it came out, but had the potential to be so much more... (yet, even not being an English Speaker, I could already tell the voice acting is atrocious...^^) After all these years, I never thanked you for posting this very little known masterpiece in the whole game music (and SEGA) history. So, thank you!
This soundtrack was epic because those guy knows how to do great music for movie, he was not a videogame composer, so his vision was more ambitious, and he played violon and other acoustic instrument for real.
This game had the most insane music for the most simple things... christ, just listen to 3:45 and onward. Thats final boss of some epic rpg theme right there.

the "picking up rambo" theme.
I swear I think I detect a hint of Escape from U.B. from Parasite Eve.
So did Kenji Kawai get kidnapped and force at gunpoint to do this soundtrack?
Nine years late, but I don't think so. Kenji Kawai always brings his A game to whatever project he's working on.
Danny boy!
If you, for some reason, own the IP to this game and plan to remake it, do it. The music is already done for you!
