Yeah that is Great Stuff. You literally could have popped a small outboard on that boat and got home with it. When I worked on the fish boats there was a Mayday call from another boat taking on water rapidly. My captain ran over to them, jumped on board with three cans of it. The guy had hit a rock when he got to close to shore and put a gash in the side. They forced a t-shirt into the crack, filled it with foam, laid the shirt against the inside of the boat and glued a chunk of plywood to the shirt. Then they foamed the hell out of it. That guy made it the 60 miles to port to fix it properly. I wouldn't go boating without some.
Cheers Karl! Yeah buddy, slowly but surely the channels growing. If I only had an extra 8 hrs in a day I could make more videos haha. As always I appreciate your awesome energy buddy! Cheers
Man, what are the odds? Boat goes down, and you were there to bless him. It’s definitely meant to be. I have a feeling this life experience will have a huge effect on him. Well done brother. Looking forward to part 2!
The new mobile homes are made with that foam. I went on a tour at the factory and watched them make a mobile home and they used the foam to hold sheetrock on the studs. The manager said it's stronger than nails, and he said it actually improves the structure of the home
Right?! Great info and it makes perfect sense . This stuff sticks/ bonds very well and is quite solid when cured so it can add a ton of structural integrity! What’s not to love?! Cheers!
I love this! What a cool experience you get to now share with him. Projects/ time together like what you are doing is truly unforgettable. I’m stoked for you and your son!
🌴. Looks like ya bailed these guy’s out 👈🏼 literally 👈🏼😆 Glad they gotter back to the ramp nice job bro ! 👍🏼👊🏼. Cut the front seat out of project nano skiff and the front eye block today looks like grinding and starting to fit the bow casting deck , 🤔
This information is priceless! Every boater should have a few cans of these onboard in their “OH SH*T bag”. I think you mentioned it even works UNDERWATER is that right? Kudos to you for helping that kid out and finding him a skiff! You’re a standup guy my friend! Yewwww!!!
Haha, yeah, i did a double take for sure. I was driving by and looked out on the water for a split second and was like… “ what the?!” Ironically I ended up knowing the guy who was towing him but didn’t know until after the event. It’s a small world, which is why we’ve gotta help one another whenever possible 😎👍🏻
@ax01adventures86 1 second ago Nice work. Seams like a can of foam might not be a bad thing to have stowed away on any small boat. I look forward to the new skiff build.
We keep running into the same boats. I traded my MacGregor 26 for an Iroquois 30. I'll go back and look for your video about that. I'm making it a powerboat with lots of solar for air conditioning, fridge, freezer and what not. Any suggestions for work on the catamaran would be welcome.
Hahaha. Too funny! And you’ve got great taste! Yes, I’m planning something similar with my Iriquois , perhaps this winter! Sounds like yours is going to be badass! Would love to see it! Cheers!
Nice of you to help the kid out. I say teach the kid to repair/rebuild his boat. Shouldn't be to hard to repair from what I see. Just time consuming and a few days of itching. Lol! Anyways nice job and I never thought of using foam in a can. Make sense!
I sunk my boat at the Indian river side park ramp few months back and thankfully there was plenty of helping hands. I’ll be back at the ramp within the month to get my revenge haha
Man I’m currently trying to build a skiff for flats fishing in ozello fl , any tips on how I should add a tunnel to a 14 foot fiberglass Jon boat so it’s more shallow capable I’m worried about the joints and all of those areas not being strong enough
If you're in water shallow enough and enough people you put half of your manpower upfront and the others at the transom, lift the front of the boat as high in the air as they can, then pull back down as the guys in the back pick up and most of the time it'll barely float but you can bail it out from there with a bucket. When you lift it up it's basically dumping the water out the back. Just a trick of airboaters which have lots of experience 😂😂😂
I'm just hoping this translates... But it feels like the beginning of Matt's of road recovery vids.. if Great stuff comes out with a special color foam just for you ... I know the system is rigged!! J/k Hang in there!

This is why boaters are the best folks around. Sneaking up on 20K SUBS is nice too! Can't wait for part 2. Cheers from the other end of the state.
