I don't get why people hate Christian rock and rap. They say its so ungodly but please show me where it says God only endorses and favors a certain genre the Bible says to make a joyful NOISE untoThe Lord. It doesn't have so be specific so long as it is praising God.

KJ is the best. Saw him in SC. He let me get a pic with him & my son (8). Teens we asking him questions about what the bible meant in various places and he discussed it w/ them. He is not a faker... God bless KJ.
Oh God, people, a specific genre of music is not unholy. This song is fantastic, and I support this, and what Willy Moore puts out. If it's for God, and within his guidelines, (and the bible says nothing about being a specific genre when singing to God) then he loves it, he loves what his people do for him.

Then a full time musician with with British Youth for Christ, wrote quite openily about the issue that not all of those who are involved in promoting, performing and organizing in the christian rock movement do so from noble motives that the CCM industry have always try to maintain to the public and the christian audeance of having. And at times some of the performers would not even claim nor give the indecation that they were even christians to begin with.

Same. I’m an atheist now, but back in the day I was a private school kid and was only allowed to buy music from Lifeway. So thankfully I found his albums. They were pretty good and not every song revolved around religious beliefs.

So while we shouldn't judge others to make ourselves feel 'more holy' (as if one Christian is holier than any another), there are definitely times that we can and should judge.
