If anybody were to come back to life or slept for 50 years, they would be shocked at the changes in society. There were no cell phones or home computers 40 years ago. No airplane’s in the sky when my grandparents were children. Invention changes society.
Tbh I actually hope it DOESN'T last "as we know it"! I'd rather be witness to society as we know it, to somehow evolve into something much more sustainable & finally catch up to the things we've learned, in all ways, over the last however many thousands of years that we humans have been doing it this way 🤷🏽♂️ But, no, I don't have any galaxy brain type solutions that we could try. I'm just commenting that I wish our traditions could catch up with our evolutions.
@@mikeygraves16 that would be nice but I found in my life it doesn’t work that way. I’m 68 now and it seems things got worse to me. IMO cell phones and all the other gadgets just made things worse. When I was younger we would get together with friends everyday. Socialize, exercise by playing sports and play music in garage bands. I’m sad to see what technology has done to society.
Here's one question that I have the definitive answer to and it is Will Humans ever conquer the Stars? NO . We cant even stop killing each other over how to pray to the same Sky Being so no , we will never get off this rock .
@@freesk8 they certainly think so. More powerful? Like to see you next to an elephant. More smart? For their needs but animals are much smarter for what they need to go through in life. Adaptable? Not at all! That's why animals have been on this planet way longer than we have! Smarter? Yeah, we're so smart we're destroying this planet! Ocean full of plastic, land overdeveloped, toxins everywhere, on and on and on.
why would anyone need a clock? you get up its morning see the sun moving until noon, then just waiting for sunset... some number that doesn't really line up with your current understanding isn't needed. also why would you want other people to have the same item as yourself? if you are the only one to have device that tracks moons, planets, etc.. then everyone flocks toward you to see the invention, whilst making more of these is not only going to force you to work creating new objects but also no longer will your invention be unique or mysterious.
