I have recently been going through a lot of anxiety and depression and it’s been extremely hard. For a long time now I hadn’t been following the gospel faithfully. But now I have a strong testimony on prayer. A lot of my prayers have been answered almost immediately and a lot of those answers have come with perfectly timed conference talks
I don’t know how this talk happened to come up on the list of suggestions to watch, but how perfectly it applies to us today! This was given in October 2001, which is nearly 19 years ago, but rings true with all that is going on with disease, earthquakes, fires, and floods. We need to pray both now and when things improve. We need to never forget the God who gives us life.

If we don't read the scriptures then we can't know God and therefore our prayers can become robotic. We're strangers to Him. Wow! That was a good eye opening for me.
