    Nice! Ganda! Lucid explanation tapos nakakakalma pa pakinggan. I appreciate the use of similar triangles to derive the formula. It's more intuitive and visually appealing than using the equation of a line, which I was thinking of when I think about the problem.

      Kuha ka lang bro ng kahit anong libro sa numerical methods and sagutan mo examples and problems nila dun. Or isip ka ng kahit anong example kahit simple pang tapos yun sagutan mo :) halimbawa root ng sin(x), cos(x), etc :)

      Usually Kapag maliit na po ung relative error. Magseset ka ng goal sa cmula. For example gusto mo ung error less than 0.05%. So pag bumaba na doon, pwede mo na itigil.

      Pwedeng tatlo ang stopping criteria mo bro:
      Una, kapag na-exceed yung maximum number of iterations like 1000.
      Second, kung yung absolute value ng function value mo dun sa estimated root is approximately zero e.g. abs( f(x_roo) )

    Sir, Paano nyo po nakuha yung answer na x=0.5671? Habang di pa kayo nag titable. Or given na po siya sa book?

      nagstart ako na may given answer, bale ginamit ko xa para macompare ko ung sagot through numerical method. I think ung x=0.5671 ung exact answer sa book (pag ginamitan mo ng algebra)
