Hi Ashley, thank you so much for putting this information all together, really admire you and your way to explain the architectural environment. Talking particularly about architecture understanding, what sources (places) would you recommend to expand our design understanding, based, of course, on your architecture compelling interests

Your videos are very helpful. I almost watch your every video...even I follow you on Instagram and Pinterest. Thank you so much. Can you make one video about the University of Toronto,
    Waterloo University,
The University of British Columbia how much CGPA does it required to get admission in the master's program.

Could you make a video about the types of classes that are part of a Masters of Architecture? I'm currently in an Bachelor of Environmental Studies and I'm constantly overloaded with lots of readings, and I'm sort of concerned that a Masters will have a literary focus. I'm hoping this isn't the case since I'm more of a hands on type of person, but I'd like your take on it. I am hoping to get into UBC, so your summary of the program would be greatly helpful and appreciated.

Hi Emilio, I will look into making a video on this topic. If you are planning on completing the professional masters in architecture at UBC. The main focus is studio work, which is very time consuming but also fun. While I create the video I would also encourage you to check out the UBC website for more information. Appreciate the feedback and thank you for watching.

Hi Ibrahim, thank you 😊🧡 Currently in Canada there aren't any accredited bachelor degrees in architecture you need to get an accredited masters.

What about visual collage of Art and design in Vancouver?. I asked them to get deploma in Architecture and technology and they said it takes 1 year and 3 or 6 month and the fee is 41,000 dollar. Is that expensive and fair?. I want your suggestion. It is a private college not a university.

If you have a Bachelor's in a different field and decide to pursue a MArch aren't you gonna be going in somewhat handicapped, from not having previous experience in Architecture or Design etc?

Hi Dark Phoenix! It depends on the program you are planning to do for Masters. You can transfer credits from your undergrad into masters. I would recommend looking into the masters program and getting in touch with the program coordinator for more specific information since it can vary depending on the school.

Hi Ashley. Would it be practical to pursue Bachelors degree in Architecture coming from a totally different profession (I have a pharmacy degree) at the age of 30?

      depend on your interest

having knowledge in a different field is very valuable for architects since architectural practice is multidisciplinary. just keep in mind that the journey to becoming a licensed architect is very long (10+ yrs Bachelor, master, then intern hours, then exams) however one can perfectly work at an architecture firm as a designer without getting licensed.

Hi Bernice! Apologies for my late reply. This is a great question. I actually selected it to be apart of the new series ask an architect where I answer the question in depth. In short, you can definitely pursue a career in architecture even at 30 or even 40. It's never too late as long as this is something you're passionate about. Also, you don't need to do a Bachelors in Architecture. Here's a link to the video with a more in-depth answer: th-cam.com/video/b7C7OitkFf8/w-d-xo.html . I hope this helps!

Hi Ashley, I heard you said that Canada does not provide B. Arch, but Carleton University, University of Waterloo, and Laurentian University provides Bachelor of Architectural Studies. Is Bachelor of Architecture same as Bachelor of Architectural Studies? A few of my friends went to USA to do B.Arch which I cannot afford and if these two verbiage means the same that would be best.
