When you say "I'm not sure if Katarina and Noxus are good guys or bad guys" that's exactly what's awesome and quite rare about the League Universe, 95% of all that's in it (characters, stories, places, events) it's in the grey area, it's morally ambiguous, you can find both morally good and morally bad stuff about anyone and anything. Then sure, there are some exceptions, such as Mordekaiser, The Void etc. But other than that, nothing is ever quite black or white

Ultimately Swain does some very good things, but he disregards the cost of achieving these things, or rather, he accepts that some sacrifices must be made in order to build the vision that he has for Noxus (which is very beneficial for the common noxian person). And when talking about Noxus as a country, its important to note the world that they inhabit (a very dangerous - borderline doomed, fantasy setting), so them bringing stability, order, meritocracy and true equality of opportunity can only be seen (in my opinion at least) as a positive thing. With this said, they arent perfect or heavenly - they are written very well and in a realistic manner to have both cons and pros, imo ever since Swains lore rework, the pros outweigh the cons way more
Kat and Cassiopeia aren't very close, or at least we don't know that much about their relationship. While Kat was trained by her father to become an assassin, Cass focused on learning politics with their mother (and then she went to Shurima which is where most of her story actually happens).
From Battle Academia onwards they have the in-game in there. The only skins who get a pic are the ones who have chromas, which is why it's mostly the new ones. My top 3 skins are Battle Academia, Battle Queen and Faerie Court, Battle Sworn right after it. Battle Queen is a legendary and even has a special feature where you can change between blades, so it's a lot of people's favorites.
37:24 ALL the stories in League of Legends get told by multiple parties so you kinda have to read all of the stories to get the whole picture, BUT I LOVE IT.
great video, i hope you check out her comic soon after making this video, as it fleshes her out a lot more as a character and adds a lot of flavor to other characters too, as well as it just being a great comic in its own right. Also they are very short, if you do all in once sitting should take like 20 mins, mb 30 max depending on how many questions you ask. i would prefer the normal setup of videos you do, with the facecam and everything
22:10 Kata is god awful in higher Elo (there is 1 Challenger Onetrick Kata that i know of) but she is too predictable and if shes behind she is very useless. You can stop her ult with any hard CC except Root and you see where she can dash to. In lower Elo she gets kills and is ahead because of that she is fairly good. EDIT: i just looked it up the last time Kata was played in a top tier region (LEC, LCS, LPL, LCK, MSI or Worlds) was in 2017 and 1 game in 2018.
Swain and darius are correct but the third person is a hooded figure that we dont know who it is (theories say is either Leblanc or an agent of Leblanc), its name is the faceless. Draven is just the executioner (urgot was the las executionar before swain sended him to zaun to die).
@@SonicElinmortal incorrect on the third one, it has been stated multiple times that the old fan theory of the faceless one being LB or one of her agents is false, the faceless one is their own person, and the entire point of them being faceless or rather completely hidden (unconfirmed but an educated guess) is that it makes it a lot more difficult for LB to control them, or for others to exert political influence. Anonymity is a great tool in the hands of a person from the assasins guilds
@@SonicElinmortal its not though, its a DISPROVEN theory, as in, literally, adressed by riot and said to be false in its entirety. but im sorry if i sounded harsh, i didnt mean it like that, theres just a lot of people still pushing this idea of the faceless one being LB , even though it is just not true - it adds a lot of confusion to people trying to understand Noxus lore and politics, but i understand that your intentions were good and you just wanted to add some context for the OP

The Katarina comic fleshes Katarina out a lot. I always found her portrayal in the game very edgy and boring, so I was surprised that the comic actually made me interested in the character.
