I just very recently lost my mom to pancreatic cancer. I get where you are coming from, and if things get worse(which hopefully they don't get for your father), don't stress yourself on trying to make us happy. Also another thing is that try to help out not only financially(which is already a lot, and am not criticizing you) but also physically by being next to him, because from experience when my mom was alive and sick I was afraid to see her for more than 2 hours. but when I got over it and was there all day everyday, I feel that she felt better and when she passed it was easier on my conscience.
I am just catching up on all of your vids one by one in a chronological order starting from the oldest vids. A lot's of time has passed, but I genuinely hope things are better now for you and your family despite the current crazy times of covid.

And 5 years later I was dating a guy from Huston, who's son less than a year old had a heard surgery that costed 800k. I was shocked. The guy worked at Coca Cola and insurance covered some or all of it I can not remember. But as Russian with free education and medicine I was thinking "oki I'm strong and young to work but what if I will break smth or all diseases that come close to pension age?". That was the main reason for me to move to Europe but not US. I still love US but as well I'm afraid :) and Europe is more kind of socialistic. So the minute I moved to Belgium I had an insurance. And when your basic safety feeling is there it is much easier to have less stress.
