Every time I see Muse, I’m more and more amazed how amazing Chris’ backing vocals are, and how they’ve gotten even better since the last time. This show was no exception, his backing vocals are so incredible!
@@koldmuse20I think B&H is a really good example because Chris' vocals start on top during the first verse where Matt is in his very low, murky register so Chris really stands out.
Absolutely. One of the reasons why I love watching their live show videos is because I can hear Chris' vocal clearly. The studio version won't help me that much LOL His voice is just so pure and blends well with Matt's voice.
my all time favourite giving me the feels from start to finish and STILL havent'managed to hear it live! hopefully next time I'll be lucky, who knows...
After many, many concerts and gigs from Muse I attended finally.... I got this live and I can still cry and don't believe I was there. But I was! As in Plymouth or the Hague or at the Eventim after Covid or Berlin, RAH, etc... But Absolution songs in Dublin, oh oh oh.
When Matt moves from his guitar to piano and Chris just leads the way with his bassline (he makes it different from the studio version), followed by that soothing piano sound by Matt.... Lord have mercy! Even that part got me goosebumps.
I do so remember this gig... because it was the first time for me to Ireland, and then Muse, well... I met an Irishman and we had some nice kisses together, but at the concert day, rain was pouring and he said around 18:00 well we can meet again in the city if you like, hahahaha. I was soaking wet queing not in any state to meet him. And I was only there for Muse after all. Oh it was epic. Been to Ireland a few times in 2024 after that and 2025 I will be back. Even if there is no Muse. But that day I fell in love with Ireland.
I usually see MUSE 2-3 times per tour. I so wanted to be there for this one! Thank you for sharing this and I’m glad you enjoyed them and had a great night!
I’m not sure about the beginning of the first sentence, but the rest should be about right: ”(Now a song that came) 20 years ago. We haven’t played it for a long time. Bear with us, we might f*ck this one up. I might, I might!”
it was raining whole day. And then I and a little girl got groped by some people inside the venue. I got so mad, had to go away from that. But I did threw everything I got in there.
I’m sorry :( that’s about it what only a phone can do. It’s by no means a match for a proshot or proper audio equipment, but at least it’s some of kind of recording of the song and the audio isn’t all distorted like phones in the past.
Exactly 💯 That's why I love Maynard from TOOL! Very strict on NO phones, and a lot of people got kicked out because of that. But, that's good! You're paying to see the artist NOT the artist and other dumbasses heads or selfie sticks blocking your view.
Thanks, and I understand what you’re after. I had an absolute blast! I didn’t walk away from the show feeling like I missed out, and I didn’t watch the entire thing through the screen. It’s possible to record without looking at the screen all the time and still move around, hence my footage can be shaky and in many ways imperfect, because I’m still enjoying the moment. A glance at the screen when framing is adjusted. No need to stare at it. If you feel like taking photos/videos ruins it for yourself, by all means don’t do it. But there is more than one way to enjoy a show. I enjoy reliving the memories, and by sharing the videos to other fans, they have a chance to cherish their time at the show too. From time to time people comment that they couldn’t attend, or they weren’t a fan at the time, but they’re happy they can see and hear what it was like. There have been plenty of times where I couldn’t attend a show, but I was able to see and hear something from the show because fans took the effort to share stuff online, and I’m very grateful for them. I wish to do the same to other fans if I film stuff, especially when it comes to more rare songs like this. Sometimes a fan recording online is the only and closest way to experience it. TL;DR I thoroughly enjoyed the show and I didn’t stare at the screen the entire show. I enjoy reliving parts of the show and by sharing it to other fans, they can look back at it as well, and those who weren’t able to attend can get a feeling what it was like.
Your video was an awesome surprise; especially since I live half way around the world, and had no idea they were playing in Ireland 🇮🇪 . I'm 25.3 percent Irish, so maybe I got lucky. Your video was the FASTEST video I've ever clicked on. It took me 34 seconds, and Chris's voice froze me. So yeah, it was an unusual day for me anyway....
The last MUSE show I went to I don't think they would've allowed my camera or phone! I was front row on the floor by a security guard and Chris; until the stage started rotating. But, I was in the jumping, sweating, shoving section. If I tried taking pics or sound, it would've sucked so bad....
Chris’ backing vocals are absolutely superb, wow!

Chris is definitely an 😇 But, so is Dom on The Globalist. I want the whole song! He's the hidden 😇

The "best" after the piano , with everyone knowing what was coming and screamed "best" in unison, was the best "best" I've ever heard.
The world needs more Absolution tracks played live! Yes!
IDK. I listened to the full album twice today and got really depressed. It also felt short. I don't know what was up today....
Jesus they still got it
I love Matt ❤❤
i look at them now and still see them as they were 20 years back
I thought I was the only one that did that.
my all time favourite giving me the feels from start to finish and STILL havent'managed to hear it live! hopefully next time I'll be lucky, who knows...
Fingers crossed you’ll get to hear it one day! At least they still keep bringing it back now and then, and clearly they’ve still got it :)

Chris also sometime adds some marvelous bit of bass lick for Bliss in live version
@@iqbalmuhammad2920 Yup, I notice that. I really wish it was on the studio version.
Nearly 20 years after they made the song they still got it
I REALLY hope they start playing this song at every show!!
Wolstenholme is the king of right hand stamina. 🔥

The only solution to stave off rustiness is to play this song more often!

What Matt even said at the beginning😂

Unfortunately I got covid a day before I was meant to be here.😢😢
I’m so sorry to hear that, that sucks 😭 Wishing you a speedy recovery! 😊
Oof covid still exists? 😶🌫️
@@necefovcavidan103Just do what I do. Don't get no shots and build up immunity. I NEVER got it even when around my elder mom and 2 daughters.
Wish you to hear that song and other fantastic rare Muse songs next time you see them live ❤

Great show, sometimes too quiet tho
As long as it's not Werchter.
He didn't do the end falsetto tho 😢
has to warm back up to it, been awhile since he has played the song
I think he can' t do it anymore. The vocal are great during the song
@@pierrebintein4114 He can and did at the first night during the London show! (you've probably seen it already by now)
@@SovereignKing yes I see. Amazing. I didn't think he could reach this note. The vocal during all the song was really good.

Bruh be thankful that they were there to record this for us, it’s awesome. This is pretty damn good quality for a phone!

Great video, but why go to a concert just to watch the entire thing through a phone or camera? You're missing out
