Today we are walking along the popular 6th Avenue in New York City during the Christmas Season. We will make stops along the way to look at Macys on 34th Street, the Christmas Market in Bryant Park, and the Rockefeller Christmas Tree. It is a really cold day in NYC - with temps only in the teens. I take my winter hat off to you for doing this walk on such a cold day. When I was still in New York, it was a yearly tradition for me to go to Rockefeller Center at Christmas time. Now I can do it virtually through your videos. Thank you and Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Very interesting walk. It's been over 50 yrs since I visited this area at Christmas time. It seems like Macys had more decorated windows back then and they were certainly more elaborate and interesting.I skated at that rink. This brought back some pleasant memories. Thank you for braving the cold and sharing. I'll be back to catch up...Keep warm!!

You talk like a real New Yorker. I know I'm from the Bronx. You refer to Manhattan as "the city". That's a throw-back from the 19th century when Manhattan was just "the city".
