Can't wait to see RTJ in a 410 winged Sprint car. He has that natural ability and it seems to help drivers to cross train so to speak. Bobby Pierce is just a lot better driver than I have given him credit for.
Just hard to believe with BShepp struggling in the Longhorn and BP32 is dominating in one.They both drive very similar and run good on all types of tracks.
@@redtuve3241 He ran the cushion for years in Rocket1 and you can go back and listen to Mark Richards he stated many times that’s why he hired BShepp. He isn’t fast anywhere in the longhorn that was my point in the comment! I’m definitely not blind either BP32 has them covered on any track or condition and with Thornton getting bounced out at SSI there is nobody in BP32’s league now!

That’s why he left the ride int the first place because he had a 3rd kid on the way.. 2) he is able to take time off when the tour is off… when he drove for Rocket they raced when the tours was not running..

I THINK the '21 and '22 longhorns were just a really great chassis that obviously guys found tons of success with and due to the huge influx of orders Longhorn had to ruah chassis' out the door, either that or the guys that didnt find the same success just couldnt drive them the way they liked

Well in my opinion it comes down to support with setups . Longhorn has so many drivers that it can't spend time helping them all . I suggest people check out Excel Chassis across between Longhorn rear and Rocket front clips so I'm told and they have been running well in SC and Ga. Also BMF seems to be a good car

However they never worked like a Howe car talking to drivers who had driven a real one and a copy they said they drove differently . You can copy a Longhorn , Rocket etc but that just gets you a clone not the real deal .

People are also saying the split wasnt exactly amicable from Marks side so Shepp may end up in a chassis other than Rocket. I guess we shall see.

Seems like these late season southern races needs to swap dates with midwestern tracks! Hurricane season has cost them the last couple of years in the south.

Sheppard started playing it safe when he was driving his own gear. He doesn’t do anywhere near the amount of risky moves to advance that he did in the Rocket.

Are you new to racing? Good drivers get an edge in a factory ride. So many things can be done that help you go fast.
