Hi, Momma Cherri...I love olive oil. I've been buying minced garlic in olive oil for flavoring my soups and other dishes. I recently learned that grapeseed oil has a higher smoking tolerance and also coconut oil is said to be a healthier way to fry and bake. Well, I don't care much for the flavor of coconut flakes or milk, but you can't taste the coconut flavor when you use the oil for cooking. I now buy the coconut oil spray for quick prep when baking a cake or muffins. I still use olive oil, but I add a couple of tbsp.'s after the soup or the greens are fully cooked, just to be sure not to miss out on that special aroma and flavor of the olive oil. What's your take on this, Momma?
All of it looked so good makes me want to go eat but it's 3:00 am here...lol A little tip on avocados put them in a paper bag roll it up for a 2-3 days if on the hard side check them for ripeness daily until there ripe don't want to leave them to long. The gasses that build it ripens them same for any thin skinned fruit peaches, pears, plums, tomatoes etc
