I watch this channel to take me back to a beautiful world that is sadly disappearing, and Kirby epitomises everything that is intricately at the heart of manners, culture, and behaviour.
@@spizzenergi2292 Yes! I couldn't have said it better. Also, with Kirby Allison's and Hugo Jacomet's efforts in their own ways, I feel this disappearing time you mentioned just might be revived.
A real gentleman knows there is no such thing as perfection… We can only aspire to it and indeed, what @Øyvind Traaseth said is very much true… For this reason this production only gets a maximum of 9/10 points in total…
Dear Kirby, you are one of the most valuable content creators on this platform. Your work is perfect, on visual and informative ways. Thank you and hope that you receive proper reward.
Incredible Kirby. I can't begin to express how much I enjoyed this masterpiece. This is your best work. British automotive tradition delivered in your mature sophisticated style. I nominate this for The Best Of Award Ceremony.
Wow. What a film! Production values and presentation equal to the works of art featured. Thank you for uploading on a weekend - watched it twice already! Can’t wait for more.
Mr Allison, I love all of your videos, but this one is an absolute masterpiece. One of the greatest car focused videos I have ever seen, thank you so much to yourself and dk engineering for giving us the chance to see so many unique vehicles. 10/10
A FANTASTIC car collection review featuring one of my favorite satorial presenters. Both of my favorite subjects in the same video. Amazing. Thanks Kirby
Being in the process of cleaning up my TH-cam lists, I stopped following channels that are just entertainment (distractions from important things) and don't add anything to my life. I recently discovered this channel, and I have really enjoyed its content. Thanks for sharing. May God bless you Kirby.
What a wonderful experience. James Cottingham is one of my favorite presenters. He's so knowledgeable and generous with sharing his excitement and love for the cars in DJs care. To see Chinetti's 1949 MM and Le Mans winning little boat in such good nick, and in such good hands, what a pleasure. Thanks for sharing your visit!
Great video. I love historic racing and have been to Goodwood many times. James always comes across as such a gentlemen and he seems to know how to drive too! Wonderful tour around DK Engineering. Fantastic.
Once again, a video far better in quality than anything put out on cable TV. Bravo to you and your team. I truly hope you continue to expand the media part of your empire.
Absolutely fantastic upload. Both yourself & James are so professional & the footage recorded too. DK Engineering is quite simply a truly breathtaking organisation / businesses. All the best, Kirby.
A true dedicated and sympathetic car professional which makes outstanding work and services - true inspiring and gives energy back for my own restoration 🏁
Thank you so much Kirby, team and DK for producing this series! Unbelievable and as a racing fan I really appreciate it. Looking forward to the upcoming episodes!
Holy pretentiousness!...it's hilarious how in the car collecting universe they ALWAYS refer to each other as "Gentleman"? eg, "I bought this from a gentlemen in London" or "I sold it to a gentlemen in California". Just stop it 😅😅
British Motorsport so perfectly fits the channel and its core values of Quality, Craftsmanship, and Tradition. I'm in awe of the pedigree held in this one location, just brilliant.
Love your videos Kirby, just visited Davidoff thanks to you and they say they get MANY first time visitors just from you. You're doing God's work. hope you get the views and subscribers you deserve!
@@kirbyallison Hope you can do a small meet up at the shop or the lounge where we can have a chance to talk and smoke with you. Thanks again for the content and I hope to see you at GW Revival 2023.
This episode was incredible. As a die hard car guy, I was bricked the entire episode lol. Especially the McLaren F1. Kirby you are as smooth as silk and got the gift of gab my friend! Keep up the fantastic work on these episodes!
Well that was an unexpected pleasure to watch. Impeccable fit on your suit and also nice choice of shoe, Kirby. Looking forward to Episode 2 in a few hours.
All my hats are off in unison to this fantastic episode and series. Together with all the other wonderful stuff that you do, I'm just at a loss for words over the development you've managed since your first trials at TH-cam. Thank you so much for all the hard work making this possible and I wish you all the best.
Kirby, I hope you appreciated the remark from James about the Tojero being the only Ecurie Ecosse car that Jim Clark drove. Jim Clark being one of the greatest Scottish racing drivers ever and Ecurie Ecosse being one of the greatest Scottish teams ever, and that being his only ever ride with them is pretty significant.
This brings momories back from my childhood and youth. The good old racing days with Lotus, Brabham, Ford Cobra, Porsche Carrera6 amd Ferrari. Also the names John Surtees, Jacky (the hair) Steward, Jim Clark etc. I appeciate Kirby's work and all the people taking care of all these old products to save their quality and craftsmanship into todays live. It's definitly worth it. Kirby gives this people a platform to present it.
I was visiting a friend and he wanted to show me his car in his garage. I am not a car buff or put much thought into automobiles. I followed him to his garage and he has a Red Ferrari . I was amazed it's a work of art . It looks like it moving fast when it's parked Kirby thank you for this video. Amazing Also good seeing you in Chicago when I was heading to London.
Whilst i am strugglijg to stop myself from drooling at such spectacular cars, may i merely attempt to state what a fantastic body of work this video is!!!! Kirby, you keep upping those levels! How do you it?!?! Simply gobsmacked! Thank you!!!!!!!!!
Utterly incredible video! I'm a massive car and Goodwood nut and seeing this behind the scenes at DK engineering is an absolute pleasure! Thank you for a fantastic video, filmed beautifully with a truly professional feel. Well done 😀
Best content ever and beautiful videography! Thank you so much for this fantastic and unique insight 🙏 Would love to see more from this fascinating world of classic cars. Well done indeed.
Fantastic video and maybe better than anything I've seen on James' very excellent channel. Agree with James that the Lee Barchetta is without question the most famous Ferrari in the world. Looking forward to Episode 2. Thanks so much!
Ecurie Ecosse was one of the most renowned privateer racing teams of the golden era, competing and winning at Le Mans. They were lead by the legendary Rob Walker and accomplished feats that are, sadly, simply unobtainable today.
Hey Kirby, Have your considered doing a series on the horse racing/bourbon culture in Kentucky? I believe you would discover much of the same lifestyle and luxury in those industries. Keeneland in Lexington, KY is an especially quiet and elegant location for the horse industry. Just an idea! Bless you friend.
