This is a really special and fantastic video. I love how you recorded the recovery of the injured bird and its mate stayed with it. Your analytics will show a very high retention time for views of this video.
Thanks for your kind words. When I go to the backyard, I always keep my phone handy because you never know what funny things the birds will do. When it comes to analytics, it's difficult to predict the actions of the YT algorithm. A year ago, our early videos had 10 times more viewers, but back then we didn't have any shorts and only a handful of subscribers 🤔🤷
Thank you very much for your comment. How we were able to earn their trust?! Not sure, perhaps they sensed that we meant no harm, and our backyard is a safe place since we don't keep any cats or dogs.
Thank you for sharing and the kindness to wild animals. I love the birds in my backyard, too. They become by daily routine. BTW, very nice self made bird feed stand.
Thank you for your kind words. Yes, since its recovery, we frequently spot the bird in the backyard. It often flies over to us, perching on our heads or shoulders while we go about our tasks. Such a friendly bird!
Thank you for your kind words. You're right, rainbow lorikeets are beautiful birds with charming personalities. It's nice to hear that you have one yourself. They can bring a lot of joy into our lives 😊
Thank you for your kind comment. It was heartbreaking to decide not to take the bird to the local vet. We had already placed it in the box, ready for transfer. In the end, it turned out to be the right decision 👍😃
Thank you for sharing. I noticed a bird with a abnormal position of his foot hopping around in search of food. I was in a car and could not park there , but when eventually I parked and went there, he was gone. I kept thinking about him and the struggles the birds and animals have to endure . Thanks for taking care of the birds 🦢 n your neighbourhood. ❤😊
Thank you for your kind comment. We understand how you must have felt when you saw an injured bird. We have come across birds with different challenges, like having only one leg or one eye. We do our best to help them whenever we can, but I guess, it's also important to appreciate and respect their resilience. Thanks again for your heartfelt comment.
That was really great and touching story. I am happy it ended so well. It looked really bad in the beginning. You did a good job helping this parrot, keeping the food for it. ❤👍 Warm greetings!
Thanks for your comment! We're glad you found the story touching. It was challenging initially, but we're pleased with the positive outcome. What's intriguing is how quickly the injured bird and the mate learn patterns in their interactions with us. They patiently waited for food and even arrived early to avoid other birds.
Thank you for your lovely comment! It's interesting that in outback Australia, wild birds aren't as friendly as those in urban areas. They've adapted to city life and human interaction for survival. Observing them up close is indeed a unique experience.
I'm sorry to hear about your eclectus parrot. It's important to take him to a vet who specialises in birds as soon as possible. They can give you the best advice and treatment options. In the meantime, keep him comfortable and make sure he has an easy access to food and water. Good luck!
@@hungrybirds_aus i appreciated to your opinion . Yeah he was checked by good pet doctor and i care him in the best condition as possible for him live and am careful from him. His diet is in the best way as they eaten in the wild a reason that i buy him thats leg problem and i want just to take care from him. Thanks for your recommends
It sounds like you're doing a wonderful job taking care of your bird! We are sure your bird is fortunate to have such a devoted caretaker looking after it. Wishing you and your bird all the best and many happy, healthy years together. 🥰
