I'm Dieuwke Tönissen, a musical theatre performer from the Netherlands, currently working at Starlight Express in Germany!

This is amazing. Starlight was the first musical I ever watched. My dad took me to London to watch it when I was like 10, and ever since, Starlight has been my absolute favourite musical. Really want to go watch it in Bochum next year. Super interesting to hear some behind the scenes stuff! :) And major respect btw, you rock!!!

You guys are so stinking cute 😍 I could watch Q&As like this weekly it’s so insanely entertaining. Other cast members popping in and out for random questions, just being so funny and adorable. Saw the show last night…..Saturday Dec. 18th. My friend & I were front row strange right black sweater & my friend had green dress on. From one performer (ice figure skating shows & live performance) to another you were AWESOME girl…..
It’s been a long time since I saw Starlight but you guys made it feel like the first time again. I’m so happy for you all that you are back on stage & doing what we were all born to do……my heart is full girl……❤️❤️❤️❤️

Dec.22 of 21. Me sitting in the first row, 360 seats. directly in front of the Mainstage. Then you came out... i am a big muscular type of Man...... but you began to sing and oh my god,...booom. just blowed me away with that kind of voice. So strong, such a Volume in it. Clear. Foolish. I have a question for the next Q&A I wanted to ask if you will be at the show on May 26th. And whether you can understand German.

You‘re welcome! 🙏 Yes, most of us didn’t know any German, they teach us enough to be able to do the show and know what everything means!
Would they maybe consider making an English-language performance a semi regular occurrence? Would there be an audience for one a month? I haven't seen Starlight since the mid 90s but I kinda hesitate to travel to Germany to see you guys in a language I don't really get very well.
They do an English show every now and then so maybe there‘ll be one next year! 🤞🏻

Cooles Video ich verstehe zwar nicht so viel aber mit Untertitel geht .
Als ich vor ein paar Wochen skaten war hatte ich die ganze Zeit die lider im Kopf und auch gesungen ( und ich war auf einem fahradweg ) irgendwann war ich so abgelegt dass ich hingefahren bin und mein Arm geprellt war aber ich war trotzdem glücklich weil ich meinem Lieblings Hobby nachgegangen bin und an den wunderschönen Abend erinnert wurde
