Thank you for this video, I have a question, let’s say you have a team that is new to agile but have a Kanban board in place but don’t use utilize the board properly because they don’t understand scrum or Kanban. How are a product owner will you transition them to agile and what frame work will be best to start with?
Thank you for uploading. Question. I am a Scrum Master for about 20-25 projects. Some projects are small like two weeks. some are six months. So basically small to mid. Is there any way to have just one board that combines Scrum and Kanban for this amount of projects? ? I think at the 3:30 Mark within the project dropdown it will give me the option to add as many projects as I want to the board? If thats the case can someone please clarify? Is there a limit to projects I can add to the board for visibility?
We are using jira 8.20.6 version,in the kanban board done status coloum ,we are only modified recently issues are visible, could you please help on this issue, but users when select the quick filter only recently modified issues are visible, but users need to show all the issues in the done status(ex: in the quick filter showing 25 done status issues in jql query,
I would check your Board Settings it has a Board Filter, you can change that filter to show all the issues there. I am happy to sit down and do this for you if you want, link to my Calendly is in the description for the video.
You can do this by creating a filter, and applying an attribute to all the tickets you want to keep in the Kanban backlog, but not the scrum one. Just make sure the filters for each board are mutually exclusive so the ticket only appears in one place. I use a dummy epic for this purpose, but I think a tag would work also.
If you guys are stuck and want to sit down with my team one-on-one, so we help you with your JIRA, book time in my calendar here: calendly.com/anatolyspektor/agile-consulting-1-hour?
This is exactly what I have been looking for! Thank you So Much nice video
This I exactly what I was looking for. Really specific use case, but I don’t think I’m in the only team that tries to run a “Scrumban” type setup.
Glad it helped! Let me know if you have any specific issues you want to discuss!

Glad I could help!
Thank you for this! So when you monitor the performance in the dashboard are you able to filter for those just in the scrum or just in the kanban?

You can create a cumulative project, create a board that is filter for all your projects and it will show all of them

I have scrum and kanban board. but i dont want it to same backlog. how to have a seperate backlog for Kanban
If you want to have different backlogs, i suggest to create 2 separate projects
