Whether bird cage placed in aviary or outdoors. Cover your bird cage top with thin gunny bag - single sheet. It should cover all the topmost perch. Birds prefer topmost perch for sleeping. By doing so, predators cannot access your birds. As well as, birds cannot see those predators, will not get frightened/panic and predators cannot see the birds clearly. Mostly Predators like cat hunt stealthily, so predators don't make noise. Single jute gunny bag sheet can help a lot.

Give them time and have patience if it's really your hobby. Birds are not machines to breeders whenever you needed. Give them proper protein food and safe environment, they will breed eventually.
