I would love to visit Glasgow, and it's great seeing the neighborhoods there. Like 27 & subscribed. Thank you for the wonderful tour, my friend. Greetings from Alaska! ❤️👍👍
I loved that walk. It's a very long time since I was in Glasgow, and I enjoyed seeing what has changed, and what hasn't. I never expected there would still be an authentic old F.W. Woolworth sign on the building at the foot of Renfrew Street. I remember the Woolworth store at St. George's Cross with counters piled high with all sorts of sweeties. Nobody could beat Woolies when it came to sweeties! A pity you weren't on the other side of Woodland Road at 4:30 and we could have seen at the road junction the statue of the cartoon character, Lobey Dosser, the creation of Bud Neill. Growing up in the 1950s, I remember following Lobey Dosser's exploits in the Evening Times, and he was a great favourite of Glaswegians. But for that quirky statue I expect he would be completely forgotten now.
Glasgow appears very spacious and well planned. Great tour. Thanks
