You’d expect the song to go even darker during the chorus, but when they say ‘I’m not gonna lose you’ at the start of it, it turns lighter instead of darker like ‘I’m not gonna live without you’ or ‘I’m not gonna be happy without you’, with the beat changing after ‘I’m not gonna- (beat change) lose you’ to a much more lighter chorus. Cleverly produced, I love the song!
