man I can't wait for winter. I started thinking about winter back in May and now I'm just really bored of not snowmobiling....I got nice quads but it's just not the same as 2 stroke smoke, fresh pow, the sound of the engine and the feeling of total freedom

I agree with both of you jamtoz AND IveGotTheNuts. This is a very expensive sport and I feel your pain jamtoz. I'm a single Dad of two great girls who actually love to come to the backcountry too but yes, a breakdown or tree can end my season too on the money side. Very addicting sport too!

Did you include some more POV "ride alongs" than last year??
Like we talked about at Puyallup and SLC shows... did you put in the ability to chose music on or off so we can hear the throttle/engine??... That in itself teaches a lot.
If I can hear the engine... I know what the rider is doing better... 9 minutes with Rasmussen was awesome last year... but I could not hear the motor most of the time.

I did a little research and discovered that the song in this video "Sirius Encore" by DJ Aristocat is a combination of two songs: "Encore" by Jay-Z (the rapping) and "Sirius" by Alan Parson's Project (the background).

@xXMRSLEDADICTIONXx If you cant do the move at 1:27 your not ever going to be able to make it down some lines. That is an advanced manueveure when It is so steep and you cant point it straight because there may be trees in the way. people think hes out of control at 1:27 but that is like using your edge of a snowboard to slow you down. Except the whole length of the sled acts like the edge in this move. Being able to link turns like that and you can go down almost amything. SWEET
looks sweet, whats the school/riding combo this year? same as the last?

Even though he isnt on a cat, he is still burandt. He is going to rip either way. Brets still kicking ass too.
im not trying to take anything away from burandt or any of the riders in the film, but at 2:01 there is evidence of just small amount of camera tilting. dont take this as a negative comment towards any of the riders, that hill is still extremely steep, im just saying that the camera man tilted the camera ever so slightly
@MrBray333 the camera is tilted to make it look steeper! don't get me rong thats steep but not as steep as it look in the vid! look at the trees they're tilted!
these guys dance around 600 pound sleds like its nothing, thumbs up!!

You say he doesnt look as smooth, but that doesnt mean its the sled, its a more aggressive ride style to fit the situation.
CAT's are the best, burandt looks way smoother one that cat's. Thumbs up if you think that the new 2012 M's wil explode the competition!

definately some of the sickest riding out there.. BUT PLEASE... level out the camerea. its steep.. but not THAT steep, you can see all the trees angle pretty bad in the frame. Not taking anything away from the riding, BUT, its really hard to watch, feels like im falling over all the time.
Everybody wants to own a Cat because a Cats the only sled that has BALLS!!!
of course burandt isn't going to look as good as past years. When you keep the same chassis and switch its gonna take time to get used to. I would have to go with deviantsled and bet hes gonna be amazing this year

all i can say is holy shit!
i love getting stuck, it means i push myself to the limit! but we dont all have the money to go ride every day or every next day, i cant afford to hit a tree or something , a 500$ break down can put an end to my season! thats what i meen by you need lots of money, and with a kid on the way my girlfriend dont want me to spend all my money on sledding, haha im sure you know what i mean.
Love these videos, but just a reminder to all those that want to try to perfect these moves, these guys don`t own their sleds, so if they wreck-em, its not their hard earned money lost!
@iloveediego sIMPLE go work ur ass off up north for two years. Then go buy one or go tto school for 5 years get a degree. Then work your ass of for two years and then buy one./ Dream big think LARGER. Anything is possible especially buying a sled. Or go move to somewhere BC go get a job at a shop bike sled. Stay a year then ask for finance and go ride wiith the boys. Simple or pay a guy like me 250 bucks for a days rental. THAT IS THE CHEAPEST AND BEST WAY TO RIDE A SLED.

Lol you have no clue. With a camera it will never look steep. You must look at the trees and the white slope to determine how steep it is. Trees grow vertical OK. And the slope in contrast to those trees looks steep as fuck. It looks like a sweet snowboard line probably double black diamond. So it is a super nice shot of a tight steep pitch.
