From my experience the galaxy a5 is overall an excellent mid ranger. Although the multimedia speaker quality and lack of OIS are huge letdowns when compared to my iphone 5s.

But to be fair, both are not designed for heavy gaming, while both of them handle light to medium games without issue. the a5 has a more elegant design and is ip68 water and dust resistant, also an amed display. the zenfome for better camera, better audio quality though

IdontEven ofc it has better battery life since the soc isnt power hungry, just a bunch of cortex a53 cores. If you're all about having a device that lasts you over a day easily and don't want maximum performance then get the A5 over the HTC10. But make no mistake, the HTC10 is overall better than the A5 in every possible way.
