Getting goats to eat hay pellets

I have given my senior goat alfanfa pellets and every night she get blowded and it's scary. I give her the beginning of day quarter, tablespoom bakingsoda with warm water and if she's still getting bloated I give her half cup of Olive oil very carefully. little-by-little in her mouth and I wait that she swallow and then I give again.I use syrince,
