My grandfather has been a leather worker for many years. (primarily south western styles) and i kick myself for never learning from him. Will be getting into leather working myself soon. Just saving up for equipment and tools etc. Thanks for making all these tutorials man! they are excellent and very very helpful.
I'm waiting for enough room, a bench, tools, time and money before I make an attempt at making any if this. Right now I'm here for the entertainment and knowledge with a little hope of gleaning some of his skill.
I wouldn't say the music was ear splitting, although a couple of notches down on the music volume would not hurt my feelings at all. In spite of that GREAT video!
I'm planning on modifying a lot of these pieces for a custom How to Train Your Dragon 3- inspired armor and I can't wait to be able to start. Thank you so much for the patterns and videos! :D
i have spent the last month building my own with your patterns and cannot wait until all the patterns are available. instead of going with your red design i decided on navy blue wile using some of the techniques you've shown in previous videos.
Love the videos. It's inspired me to want to give it a shot and one day hope to be able to once I have the funds to afford it. Id love to start a midevil type shop and go to midevil style fairs and sell clothing and armours
Thank you so much! I was waiting for this pattern.

Try sandwiching neodymium magnets into leather. So that u can attach and remove bits. Like removable armour plates. And as your channel grows. I would like to request that you make a full GUYVER leather armour costume. That will be off the charts. Thanks for the great video content. Salaam.
I like these a hellova lot more than the bracers. I wonder if the bracers could be redesigned to be more similar to these. Aside from that, I can't wait for the whole set to be out!
OH YEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAH!!!!! Another AWESOME TUTORIAL!! Can’t wait to finally have the cash to build this!!! Just two more pieces man, your work is inspiring! Thank you for all of the amazing content! Id say keep up the good work but I don’t think you can too yourself. Amazing!!!
I love what I have seen so far on the channel cannot wait till I get my garage up and running so I can use some of your patterns. Is there a way you could do a norse viking set next?
Awesome! SO far i have the Helmet, breastplate, and pauldrons done. I'm getting ready to do the rest These are Fantastic and I've learned so much! Thanks for your videos and Products!!
Didn't know 'bout your Discord yo I joined Just now. I really like your work. It inspired me to try my first ever armor to be selfmade. Though still a lot is missing since I'm working on the Chain Mail right now. Thank you so much for your instructions and inspirations. (Also: sorry 'bout the grammar. I'm no native speaker and haven't been speaking or writing English the last couple of months^^)
Had a lot of fun making armor with your patterns, but was really wondering where you got the forming stake you used in this video? I have been looking all over for something like that
Great as always! Also do you think could you share some other times in a video different techniques to dye or make antic effects just like you did? I am new to leather working thanks to you and I am reaaaally bad at making some paint effect... Hi and thanks from France!
Maybe it’s just my phone, but the audio mix seems a bit off in this video- often the music makes it hard to hear what you’re saying. You might consider adjusting your levels in future videos
Thanks for the new video! I love these and have just started laying out my Breastplate as my first piece using your pattern. On the Greaves though, would you connect those to the Sabatons or leave them completely separate?
The torso is the largest piece and looks to take close to a double shoulder size for it. So honestly probably 1 full hide. Since you're going to want different thicknesses though you're probably going to want to order a few shoulders or double shoulders. Personally I'd get 2 double shoulder of thick leather for the torso and legs, 10oz or so. Then a double shoulder of thinner for everything else at around 7-8oz. It's kind of a guess though since each piece is unique in size so you could get 14sqft or 17sqft from a double shoulder. He also doesn't try to get maximum cuts from every piece he uses so you could squeeze 10-20% more stuff out than he does. But that takes a lot of extra time and leather is fairly cheap. He's a professional so every hour he spends trying to maximize larger use is wasted in profits from the piece.
@@Princearmory Never mind. I just checked and you fixed my problem without writing an answer email. I'm so sorry for bothering and thank you very much for your help
I've been using your patterns as a base for a project I'm working on and modifying the pattern to suit my needs but its a great help to have as a base of direction. For example I used the idea of the arm articulation pattern for a pauldron to allow my arm to move up without moving my shoulder. I've making a Neo Evangelion Eva unit 1 inspired leather armor set in a viking style. I'll try to post up in your discord. You can see my on my progression on IG @baddassbard
I really love your videos, but the volume of the music is really loud compared to your voice. sometimes it can get a little hard for me to keep focusing on what you're saying because the music drowns you out
@@PrincearmoryThe Music. It over powers your voice. I stopped watching cause you are un-hearable. I would suggest lower the music audio and re-upload the video
@@dannyfresh6697 Lol, that went over your head didn't it? He was saying "What" the same way you do when asking someone to repeat something in a loud place. As in he's aware there is an audio issue.
These were beautiful until you put the black. In my humble opinion it's too messy and it ruined all the very awesome work you did before. it would really need a better gradient. Maybe with a black/red blend, not full black. But again, my opinion. Still think u're very talented though.

Love the videos man. But one thing the music was a tad bit loud at the start, it was drowning out your voice talking.
Using headphones here too. Music is ear splitting at a level to hear voice :(

I'm trying to get ahold of you guys. I have a pattern I purchased and they won't open anymore
THe tool you used to wet form. where do i get one?
Its linked at the website.
Where to get a metal shaping orb?
Can you post the link for your forming tool? Didn't see it in the description.
Its linked in the tool recommendations at the website.
The tool recommendation page isn't working
What was the reason for not dying the leather before assembly on this build?
It was because reasons. Also, said reasons were explained in the video.
Amazing content! Will you be showing them all together when it's all finished?
Probably not, the parts are deliberately not matching and some only have single piece prototypes made for the video. I leave that to future students.
How thick is the leather you use for this outfit?
It is mentioned in the video but you don't have to use the same
Thanks for the new video! I love these and have just started laying out my Breastplate as my first piece using your pattern. On the Greaves though, would you connect those to the Sabatons or leave them completely separate?
Separate
may as well watch this on mute and put on cc but love the video
How many full hides, do you think you will need to complete a set of armor?
As many as it takes : )

Maybe I'm just blind, but I can't find the forming tool he was talking about...

These are all demonstration pieces so people can make them however they want and learn from different techniques.
Music is far far too loud to keep your voice audible. I can't even finish this video. Great topic though.
Thanks for the feedback
