Speaks very maturely for his age
agreed!
Rich people are modifying their kids genetics. Look up caspr it's been a thing for a decade now.
Pr trained lol
My oh my, oh my sweet Cavan Sullivan
Congratulations, Cavan!🎊 🎉
thanks
Very impressed with his maturity .. Best of luck
What am I doing at 14? Bro this is insane.
Rich people are modifying their kids genetics. Look up caspr it's been a thing for a decade now.
Everyone has their own story and path, keep going with what you are doing and don't give up you will make it
as long as you make it in life your ok some people have the luxury to start earlier than others due to lots of connections and lots of money from parents don't feel bad about yourself
@@DiegoaL1424yeah it’s easy to say that when you’re older brother is already in the MLS, probably was fortunate enough to be surrounded by certain people and put in money and time bc they ‘trusted’ him. this is a lot for a 14 and he doesn’t even know himself. i’ve seen so many other younger kids play the same but why aren’t they famous? bc they were playing on bumpy ground and dirty streets. there’s passion, and then there’s planted.
16 yo me watching lamine cook at the euros
Congratulations Cavan this is insane i'm a year younger than you and your already playing pro level? insane man keep it up!!!!!!!!!! 🎉🎉🎉.
Pay to play baby
Is it wrong for me to be in houston and support the Union? What a signing
Yes.
@johnwilmer2047 No, just you think so lol.
@@CDmusic10 I speak on behalf of Texas, haha..
He’s humble. Love it
you kinda have to be when you know you’re the youngest in the mls. there’s no point in trying to prove anything when you have years to improve.
Best of luck Cavan! Vamos USA, el equipo de todos!
LOL
lmao not everyone's team
What a well spoken young man!
That Philly accent! 😂 "livin down 'nah shore"
Congratulations young man, ya making waves here in the UK. Wishing y'all the very best 🇺🇲🇬🇧⚽👍😊
Congratulations 🎉 all your accomplishments
Lafc fan here congratulations kid looking forward to see you play in LA
Ew why would u want him to waste his career in the mls? Coming from an american
The beautiful game! Congratulations kid
2:12 - watch him split those two defenders.
Nasty af
Congrats Cavan! Keep it up
Dude is coming to Manchester City
City signs young players all the time. Very, very, very few ever play for the first team.
yea i feel like he aint gunna touch first team lol
Not yet at least, the important thing is he stays humble. I saw him play live, definitely gifted but again HE'S ONLY 14 so people need to pump the brakes a bit@@ItsJustAPrankBroski
IT’S ABOUT TIME!!! This is what we need!!!! Good luck!!!
Pay to play , exactly what we don't need
Amazing congratulations 🎉
He is very talented. Watch his footwork. Also, he is very good looking. He is going places!
Rich people are modifying their kids genetics. Look up caspr it's been a thing for a decade now.
I follow the English Premier League very closely as well as some teams in the English Football League, Bundesliga, La Liga, Seria A and Ligue 1. I will definitely remember the name Cavan Sullivan. Hopefully he will make it to the big leagues.
That's truly remarkable! It is obvious that MLS has learned from the Freddy Adu mishandling and Cavan already seems years ahead at this same stage when compare to Adu..
If this kid stays humble, he'll go far in life and in his professional career
I hope he takes our international game to the next level
This kid plays good has a good future
My best advice to him is not to believe the hype and stay hungry. There are hundreds of talented kids like him at Premier league teams. Only one or two make it through. Especially to a club like City where you have to be world class to be part of the squad.
Abright future ahead of him indeed. I only wish he began the process to European football a lot sooner instead of playing with horrible competition in the MLS. At his age, he would absorb so much knowledge and experience before he gets 18, nonetheless I wish the young lad the best.
Hope he lives up to his Freddy Adu’s prediction. ❤❤
Can't wait to see him play for City.
You never will 🤣

Future of American soccer
That's what they said for freddy adu,
@@brando7266 2004. 20 years a lot has changed.
@@Chicagofellow15 let's hope,
@@brando7266 Definitely
I know right? He will be the Lebron of soccer I'm sure
He could be the first American superstar to come out of MLS.
I guess it depends how you define superstar. Really impactful USMNT players have come out of MLS in the past, from Tim Howard and Clint Dempsey to Tyler Adams and Ricardo Pepi.
Future Ballon d'Or winner
They better not Freddy Adu this kid lol.
14 is insane bro, I don't think people are realizing that
Oh Cavan
Big for USA soccer. Let's go kids.
Don’t be another Freddy Adu 😂
Dont flop like Freddy Adu
wow he must be really good… so they say
All this does is add unnecessary pressure. I wish him the best, but he needs to be left alone. Freddy Adu, Nii Lamptey, and Ben Lederman say hi.
Holy Glaze
Don’t talk about my king like that
Should've signed with Inter Miami. Could've learned from the best in Messi and Suarez.
he is trying to expand .. not remain stagnant. they are out the mls in a year or couple
If you want to be the best then you need playing time and he’s not going to play if Messi is playing his position.
Freddy Adu rerun?
Future Wonderkid of USA ❤
Just four more years Cavan. Welcome to Man City.
All clubs are looking to grow their presence in America and Manchester City are not exactly sitting on their hands. Being associated with players like this is exactly what they are looking for.
make soccer popular in america
The last time this happened it was Freddy Adu. Hailed as the next Pele. Where is he now? Let these kids be kids.
not true there are other players that have succeded at a young age. As a young player myself I think it would have been better if he went to like ajax or dortmund academy
Imagine he goes and Pep ends up gone 😂
Pay to play baby
What kind of food this kid eats? 😂
He wasn’t fking with at 14 no diddy
Should have tried to get into a European academy and work his way up to the first team.
He can't join the first team in the Prem until he's 18. Until then, MLS is his best pathway to pro minutes.
@@Djaermi I know I said he should work his way up.MLS pro* minutes do not equate to the first tier in a European league. He should go to the Netherlands or Spain to see how he stacks up.
When a kid gets an offer from Manchester City at age 14, he's probably going to sign it. If he plays extremely well for the next two years, maybe he could be loaned to a club like Girona which is part of the City Football Group. Or if he's not ready for a Champions League-caliber club, maybe he could go to Lommel or Palermo, which could potentially be top-flight teams in Belgium or Italy by that time. I know I'm arguing against a "should have" statement with real scenarios, but you should understand that he hasn't been railroaded to MLS for the next 4 years, if that really is as unproductive as you seem to think it is.
Kid's the real deal. He will be getting first team minutes with Man City in 3-4 years, mark my words.
Maybe not Man City, but somewhere that actually plays good football unlike MLS
@@TrxeisHimhe signed a pre contract with them for when he turns 18
A lot of players are seen as wonderkids, and eventually don’t make it to where they are expected to. This doesn’t just happen in Barca, but in all soccer
@AllisonLorenzo-jw2ss naw fam, city will likely still hold his contract rights in 2026 after the world cup. I can see the PL giving city a cakewalk opponent for the first match back from the WC and man city rolling out Cavan for US eyeballs to continue the world cup hype.
I'm just making a bold prediction so I look like football nostradmus in a couple years. Plus Cavans ceiling is high enough to get minutes for city if he pans out.
As long as he is in the MLS it is wasted talent. He should be headed to Europe to a good academy. Nothing but bad habits here.
really hope he doesn't crack under all the pressure hes getting. this is a lot to be recieving at age 14
We all know what happened to the old us soccer phenom 😂
This one isn't that one so who knows, kind of a lazy take my G
if he reaches 18 years old, he will not be able to meet Bernardo Silva, Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne as his teammates as their contract expires on or before 2027
But he will probably meet haaland
How many 14 next messi have we seen and flop relax. Pep wont be there anymore
Playing mls is like playing d1 college soccer he should’ve went to Europe
He can’t go to Europe until he is 16. Then he is allowed to go Germany as he has a citizenship on his mother’s side. Only when he is 18 can he play in England. If he could go to England now legally he would. This is why he is staying in the US for a couple more years.
@@n-p-3244 you know that pulisic started playing for Dortmund at 17 right. He could’ve played for a u18 and once he was ready could’ve played for the senior team professionally. Europe is not like the us. You have 15, 16, and 17 years olds playing with senior teams.
@@pablorivera5495 Pulisics mom had a European passport as well. That is why he could play in Germany starting at 16. This is the same thing Sullivan will be doing. No difference.
the fact he agreed to the transfer to man city, just shows he got a terrible agent,
If you didn’t grow up playing in the streets with a rubber ball and bottles for cones, you are going to have a tough time dominating the world of football
Lol rich parents will get you there 😂🎉
That Doesn’t take away the fact that the man has crazy footwork with the ball
@@Mcmbby lol easily impressed
🤍🖤💜
just a normal day in barcelona
Well if you're such fans call it by it's right ne football.
Don’t be like Freddy Adu please 🙏🏽
The white Freddy Adu
Not anything special at all
Philadelphia is small team lol
American society doesn't know how to grow a football (soccer) prodigy, look what happen to Freddy Adu. Please learn from that.
Freddy wasn't american.
@@JenJHayden He played for the USMNT.
80% of the English academy players are better than this kid lol
How do you know that? Have you seen this kid play?
And 80% of English players are not getting signed by Man City. Maybe 0.0001%
@@nl5703 you do realise he isn’t signed by Man City. The clause is IF they want to sign him which Man City have in a lot of young players clauses. The English talent is much greater than America when it comes to football is just facts.
@@temporarylove2292 But 80% of English talents dont have a clause in their contract stating they can be signed by Man City. Maybe 0.001% actually have this. And probably 0.0001 % actually get signed by City.
Yes, thats true, on average English talents are probably better than American ones but thats because its your #1 sports. In the US, its #4 most popular. Just like American basketball talents are better on average because basketball is not as popular in the UK
Anyway, I dont understand the point of your original comment because this kid is 14. So nobody knows what will happen to him for at least another 4-6 years
Its football 😡😡😡
Seen better players than him lol all over us. In USA you need to come from money to play in the pros lol
I hope he doesn't not become another Fredy Adu.
It’s not called soccer
Football not soccer
Signing mls contract shouldn’t be called professional contract the level is too bad nobody watch and care about this league
He probably end up at Real Madrid in two years.
Not at all.
He already signed with Man City.
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ was with Man City, but since he's making an MLS shift, I think he wasn't getting time.
@@pizzaman207 He just can't go over there until 16 legally, so he signed to play until he can leave for Europe. Not sure how compensation will work now that Philly has him until then though.
@@_Jake.From.Statefarm_ he would play in the ACADEMY for the team. No age required to play in a team academy. He’s gunna get bodied anyway.
