Duncan and Kim: The best at giving and following directions
As a person who lives in a desert state, I made the hugest facepalm when they were trying to pronounce "Saguaro". Sag-oo-are-oh. It doesn't even look like "Sageera".
The Obsidian Totem is found as a randomly generated object in worlds that have Thaumcraft 3. Generally found in deserts, the totems allow you to move already-existing nodes in the world.
A total of 8 Obsidian Totems are needed for the base of a Node moving device .
They can be found standing randomly throughout the overworld of varying heights- two blocks to five blocks are commonly spotted. The bottom of these structures is a single Obsidian Tile block.

Rarely, a formation made of Obsidian Totems and Obsidian Tiles will be found in the world, with the totems in a squarish formation and a chest in the center providing varying treasures. Directly under this chest may be found either a Pigzombie spawner, or a Wisp spawner- which will always generate hostile wisps of the Mutatio aspect regardless of the flux level of the area.
The Obsidian Totem is completely uncraftable. It is unknown who made these structures, or why they dot the landscape, but frequently an unstable node can be found over the chest
They can also be found naturally generating within the Twilight Forest .

Fluiducts and itemducts only need hardened glass if you want them to be translucent. Opaque version required lead instead, if I recall correctly.

Meanwhile Kim flies West towards the snow biome, double backs, circles where she just came from, then heads to the base. Not bothering to do what Duncan is telling her to do. Go NORTH... NORTH... Not South, East or West... North...

In my experience, obsidian totem poles actually summon massive zombies at night sometimes. The more damage these zombies take, the bigger they get and the stronger they get. They're horrible and kill anybody with conventional armor really fast.

Zombies spawn from those obsidian totems, Kim. That's why there are always zombies beating on your door.

Obsidian Totems have a secret tunnel underneath them. If you dig in the center, you will fall into a hole with some chests inside.
Kim, why don't you look at your mini-map? Will probably help you navigate around :P

The only way i have noticed how long ago some episodes of some series have been recorded. Is wether duncan knew about the hover mode on the jetpacks. This episode was recorded way back.

all waypoints in the "playerDeaths" group on that map (which your lava! waypoint is in) will disapear after so many deaths, i sujest right clicking on the marker and change the group to "all" so it doesnt disapear and you will always see it.

the totems hold arua nodes, they are bad aura nodes destroy the top to prevent angary zombie and bad wisp spawns especially at night

The wicker Men are known among my circle as Burning Men. There's a spawner under one of it's legs.
destroy the totem immediately, it spreads a evil biome that will spawn armor zombies constantly that will flood towards you even from distance. that's why you are getting 20 zombies at your door.

the totems have a bad arua node and lots of flux in them if you are on the old build of thaumcraft
it is not a sagura cactus, it is a su hua ro cactus. and it is not sa kur a, it is a sa ku raa tree.

That's not normal obsidian, that's an obsidian totem. They're a thaumcraft thing.
