Yoh, Barbara! I relate to this entire video! This is something that I struggle with so much because I am so used to being the "glue", the calm one", the "one everyone comes to for advice", that it is so incredibly difficult to me to allow myself to feel. I am taking this video as a sign to step outside of my comfort zone. I am 21 and being little miss put-together has caused me more harm than good. Thank you, thank you for this message. I will definitely be rewatching this and making use of your actionable steps. ❤ I definitely want to embrace my power and face my future this year because it's affecting so many other areas of my life. I am even afraid to date because I feel afraid of being myself. I really needed to hear this. If I may ask, how do you not fear that your relationship will not end in divorce? My parents are also no longer together and it's my own worst fear. Watching them disrespect one another is painful and I fear potentially being happy but also being miserable.
I don’t think it’s a coincidence that most lover girls need Jesus as the covering and protector. There’s definitely a reason because He knew that this love that we have to give is almost all encompassing to the point where it might cause us heartbreak sana 😭

I also grew up hating physical touch until recently I found out that physical touch is my main love language and so it’s so deep for me, I am easily manipulated by touch and also being touched by people i don’t have a certainty level of intimacy with feels very intrusive and like I’m getting harassed 💀.
