The most common problems can’t be fixed with a superficial cleaning and flushing oil and kerosene into the ground. Nice new bearing but hammering it in probably zappped 90% of its life. A new diode assembly is nice, but that may have not been the problem. They didn’t check the stator or rotor coils or turn down the slip rings. Didn’t replace or turn the brushes to the slip rings. Didn’t test the alternator in any significant way. I’d guess they maybe put out 50% dud alternators, the rest kinda working but with limited longevity.

Dis alternator won't be lasting because he dint change the regulator it will come over charging n effect dat rectifier
