Well basically, the reason why your voices sound higher here because it comes from a difference in broadcasting methods between Europe and America (and I guess also Canada for this case). I’m from the UK but I’ve always noticed that other region shows that air here tend to be slightly more high in pitch (particularly with Disney shows and animated American cartoons). I believe this is because the FPS is changed to fit the UK’s FPS since American and British TV use different number of half frames a second if that makes sense. I assume this also applies to Canada since it uses or at least used to use NTSC TV (same as America). I hope this helped clarify things a bit. Anyone else can add info here or correct me if I’m wrong on anything said here but I hope this helps with any confusion regarding pitch😅
