don't, ear wax is normal and even necessary for your ears, just buy a qtip and make sure your outer ear, ear folds and lobe, and the opening of the earhole is clean, don't try to clean the insides unless it gets stuffy, it's natural to have wax in there

Also, you need some ear wax or moisture will make your ear canal soft and then you'll get a very painful ear infection like I did at one point. Ear infections hurt so much, just listen to the doctors.

A method I learned from the doctor is just to get some hydrogen peroxide and apply to a cotton ball, squeeze into your ear while lying down on your side, and wait 10 minutes, then let it drain, and do the other side. It removed my blockage relatively quicly. It feels weird though, like cold bubbles in your ear.
I got a removable shower head, so what I do is tilt my head to the side and spray the hot water up into my ears, to clean them out. I try to remember to do it at least once a week. The first time I did it I could feel the chunks of wax falling out.
