I wish Chris could’ve gotten that Superbowl in 98. We were blessed as fans to have such a great player. Class Act! A true inspiration and Role Model. Thank you 80, much love. SKOL4LIFE!
Its a disgrace that we didn't get a superbowl with the Moss and CC duo at receiver. Most dominant wide receiver duo ever. We just had cheap Red McCombs as owner who didn't put enough into the team. If we had the Wilfs as owners starting in 1998 we get at least one superbowl.
CC your my All-time favorite Vikings player and have mad respect for you not just cuz of football but how u turned your life around. I truly believe u helped Randy Moss in becoming a Pro Football player and you helped him my turning his talent into a reality. Also best hand ever!! #VIKINGSNATION #SKOL #80HOF #GOAT
In my opinion, THE BEST, receiver of all time. Not only the stats, but the consistency for so many years!!! ( Viking fan since 1970 ) A complete receiver, and highly professional. ( I don't want to hear your MOSS and RICE arguments ) If they are great, then he is their teacher!
Love ya, Chris, but ya left out two of my Favorites. My Vikings Mt. Rushmore is Alan Page, Fran Tarkenton. Paul Krause and (at the time of his retirement) the NFL's second all-time leading scorer Fred Cox.
I also just learned two important things, 1. Fred Cox was drafted to be Jim Brown's blocking back by the Cleveland Browns but instead became the Vikings kicker, and 2. Fred Cox invented the Nerf Football. To me that is HOF material.
Nope. Who do you take off Mount Rushmore for AP? I can successfully argue that AP is a fringe top 10 Viking of all-time, so stop with AP being a top 4 Viking. Also take into consideration that he beat his 4 year old so bad the kids nuts bled. Not the kind of guy I am going to put him ahead of hall of famers that were all time great guys. All 5 were unicorns., Paige was the best defensive player of his era and the catalyst for 4 SB teams, Fran held every record at QB when he retired. Doing things that we had never imagined a QB doing. Also father of the scrambling QB. Moss is the greatest talent at wr ever, Johnny is the best interior pass rusher of all time by far, even Aaron Donald won't have the career numbers Randle did and Johnny was extremely small. Undrafted bc the league never had an interior lineman that small before. Regularly recorded more sacks year after year than HOF edge rushers like Reggie white. Lastly imo McDaniel is the best guard of all-time. Ahead of Upshaw, Hannah, and Kramer or Allen. All of theses legends broke the mold at their position. Granted AP was a special special player, however we've seen that violent running style throughout nfl history. Like Walter, Earl, Okoye(kinda) Lynch, Bo, Henry, jamal Anderson the list goes on and on. My mount Rushmore is Carter, Moss, John Randle and McDaniel. Honorable mention is Fran, Paige, Eller, Marshall, Bud, Denny, Jared Allen, Hutch, Birk, Reed, Krause, Foreman. Then maybe Adrian
The Mount Rushmore question was so hard. There have been so many Vikings greats. How do you narrow that down to just 4? I like how Gabe had the caveat of excluding Cris. That way he can't choose himself and risk sounding conceited. Bravo, Gabe!
Page/Tarkenton/McDaniel are all basically unarguable for how good they were for such a long period of time. Moss probably has to be there for just how iconic he was even if his Vikings career wasn’t all that long at 7 seasons, but there are a bunch of guys you can argue in that range like Eller, Randle, Carter (if he included himself) and AP.
No its not...Peterson does not deserve to be ranked higher than Page, Tarkenton, McDaniel, Randle, Moss, or even Carter or Foreman...Peterson had too many big game fumbles and also off field issues...he dint catch or block well either...very one dimensional ... unlike the great Chuck Foreman who led Minnesota's offense to 3 Super Bowls with Tarkenton
@@RJNumber45 Peterson carried the Vikings during his career and was never blessed with the supporting cast consistently like the others named. Moss never had off-field issues? Moss never dropped passes in big games? Peterson's first touchdown was a flare pass.

@@beautepley8352 1999, 2000, and 2001 would've been possible IMO if we just had a couple more pieces
His name is Cris!!
Fantastic Viking mount rushmore
Gotta add AP...he was our offense for at least 3 -4 years. And is an all time LEGEND.

Flipping love Chris Carter. So smart, articulate, thoughtful.
For real Chris Carter was my first favorite player. Cool of him to do this interview! Thanks Gabe and vikes entertainment! Skol!
CC was my childhood hero. Love this dude.
SKOL! Thank you Cris Carter for the great Viking you are!
One of the most respectful, correct and unique(adding the 5th), response to the "Mount Rushmore" question. SkOl
Great interview!!!
One of the greatest possession receivers of all time.
CC looks sweeeeeet. Dude is cooler than ever. One of the best to ever do it. Great top 5. And, no doubt, best hands ever. SKOL 💜💪
Love Cris Carter!
Amazing interview.

I love CC. I remember Alan Page too. Look at #88 with that jersey and helmet. Now that's football !!
Love CC
Love you man

Fred needs to be in the Vikings ring of Honor,,,it's crazy he's not
That's a very good Mount Rushmore
CHRIS CARTER!!!
You forgetting Adrian Peterson
agreed. really strange he left him off
There's so many
And forgot case keenum
Kirk could make the list one day 👀👀👀 but yeah, having AD on that list or a mention should of happened. It’s CC’s list so it’s his opinion anyways

Best hands for sure the standard
Best organization in the league
Chuck Foreman
Fran Tarkenton
Randy Moss
Carl Eller
CC unfortunately even as an Eagle draftee I still have if you made it a Top 5 though!

Favorite player
It’s sad how Adrian Peterson has just gotten forgotten in every top Vikings list, I don’t think I’ve seen him on a top list since he left the team.
He also was exposed as kind of a d. I don’t have him in my Mt. Rushmore Top-4 for sure
off the field stuff 💔
Too many fumbles in the clutch....
Yeah its kind of a tough exclusion but when theres plenty of Viking greats to choose from who dont have such dark off field stuff it makes sense.
I have never forgotten Adrian, he is on my Mount Rushmore
CC is a living legend. That's all that needs to be said.
My Vikings Rushmore is Carter. Moss. Peterson. Harrison Smith.
I'd replace Peterson with Jared Allen
@@stubert94 I'd replace Allen with Doleman
@@MrCook-dz6gj-Yup, Doleman was better than Allen
John Randle 👋
Matt Birk!!!
Id be lieing if I said as a grown man that I dont occasionally do Carters famous sideline double toe tap catch onto my bed.
I don't do it eaither from time to time for different occasions. 😊
Where can I get that shirt CC has on
My man C. Carter is cooler than the other side of the pillow. 💯
Moss, Paige, McDaniel, AP
CC!
"All he does is catch touchdowns" legendary description of CC, wear that one with pride!
I know I do (cuz I have a shirt that says it with him on it lol)
Cris carter is on the Mt Rushmore of favorite Vikings John randle Fran tarkenton
Bud Grant, Alan Page, Randy Moss, and Adrian Peterson are on my Mount Rushmore
he needs to show more humility and appreciation instead of being so arrogant.
He needs 6. Cuz you can’t leave out AP
I can’t believe the goat forgot about the other goat😂
Get you a fall guy!
Didn't recognize him
Leaving Adrian Peterson off his list is insane
From your spot on the couch may be insane. But for a man actually in the organization, locker room and on the team maybe not so insane.

best hands ever..period!
