2. He actually describes his life as a prison and our relationship as “conjugal visits”! I can’t figure out how he thinks that is appealing to me. Imagine saying that on a dating site profile. “I’m looking for someone to make conjugal visits to me in the prison of my own making that is my life.”

Every time I listen to a reading, I'm always mindful to reverse the message and not choose which "side" it applies to. Pile #2 for sure was confirming for me that someone likes me and before anything could even be said or done about it I had already complicated things by coming up with a whole lot of reasons and excuses as to why I had to take things slowly.

Pile 2. What is the connection between financial stability and love? Whether we make our life with one person or another, that doesn't stop us from continuing to work and earn money! And if the new person earns the same or more than our ex, we win. Frankly, I don't understand. When we stay with a person we are no longer in love with, it negatively affects all aspects of our life, including financial and material.
Pile 1. This is his very last chance. He came back this time with 2 jobs and putting effort into being supportive and being in our child’s life. My hearts guarded and if he betrays or try’s to break my heart (which he can’t because he already broke it and I’m healing) I’m done. I’m stronger now. I’m not worried what he does because if he messes up eventually I’ll find out and I’ll leave him forever. I’m literally at peace with myself and my kids and I’m not stressing over him. He’s now showing action instead of just talk. So far so good but still, we will see. I won’t hesitate to cut him out my life because I’m at a point in my life where I’m very serious about changes and focusing on my goals. I don’t have time for games and I don’t have time to entertain anyone who plays games.
