Would be nice but honestly when you look at it a 48v paired with the more powerful motor and faster 0-20 than the revv1 DRT and it's 52v and quick. And 35mph is really the sweet spot for range and speed commuting in the city. Here in Chicago it's seems like an option for me. Between this and the rev1 DRT so far. Looking to purchase one of them within the next 4 months or sooner. Just need to see more reviews of the Segway bc everyone loves the DRT, I honestly don't know how anyone in their right mind who would get a SUPER73 over either one of these though...
You know what we need? We need alarms that yell out something like, "Help, this guy's trying to steal me, call 911, someone please help me" and so on. Maybe have it be in a kid's voice or something so that people will actually pay attention or take notice of it. We all know we're guilty of ignoring the sounds that traditional vehicle alarms make.
I love that the rear rack on the Xafari is also sprung. More full-suspension e-bikes need to do it this way so whatever load you're carrying on the rack is less likely to bounce around and get damaged or lost.

@@truth431the bike, if you are shipping it to Canada, maybe flagged and seized or to be declined to cross the border since across Canada the limit of motor watts is 500watts to 750watts. With Amazon at least the hassle of getting the money back is less than with non amazon companies. That would be my 5 cents. My initial choice was revv1up, but the company offered only convoluted option of cross-border shipment.
Best review of Xyber on youtube. I like that the tank bag can be inserted under the frame and imitate the tank. Key lock still could be just easier to operate.
@@SHREDDIEMCSKATE Oh ok thanks yeah I’ll make sure to use it and use your link if I buy it. I’m out here in Hawaii and they don’t ship here so I’ll have to ship it to San Francisco and go pick it up if I do get it 😄
Both off road and street legal are $2999???? But only the street version gets turn signals.. thats kinda lame. Hopefully you can buy the "replacement parts" and plug and play the turn signals onto the off road one.
The xyber is nice but i think they went overkill with it and if they come out with a locked down 750 watt version its going to have all the problems a super 73 has going up a 5% grade its going to be a paperweight.
Yeah, I was wondering about their 750 W version. I’m wondering if it’s gonna still have the torque but they just limit it to 20 miles an hour. We’ll see you when it comes out. I should have the off-road version here in about a week.
@JohnLeitch-sq4fs yeah but it's got a bigger motor and higher peak with a 2nd battery at 6000watts. I know the rev is 52v but pretty sure the 0-20 is slower than even the 48v paired with more powerful motor....

I see e-bikes like the Goat one and Super73 but I like the idea of this one from a larger company. But I would want to ride it in the road and sidewalk. Service is the question. The bicycle bike has noname forks, noname rear shock, 2010 gearing. I dunno how you could fix it at a bike shop. Smells like major problems a year into ownership. Segway has to make parts available to order, else these thing can not be considered by people who plan to own this for more than a year. Changing a tire on a scooter sometimes ends up in a full replacement. It's insane
Typical Segway; killer feature set, build quality, tech, attention to detail, but coming up just a tad short on performance. Overall, really solid entry at $3k though.
@ the seat is not comfortable. It’s also so limited based on their restrictions it kills any road usage. Ideally GOAT powered bikes is the best bike for the money.
The bike itself looks great. However the performance of 35mph is comical. The size of the bike, and the price one is clearly going to expect three times that speed. It mights aswell be 750 watts cause thats all the performance you are getting really. To have a bike that is so substantial and only be able to hit 35mph top speed is a huge no go. Pretty much most ebikes out there do what this does even at a higher speed for less money. Never mind it has a motorcycle look, but it only has the performance of what a pro cyclist can do a few mph more but really?!🤷
It looks similar to the Land Moto, and other frames ebikes, so I was expecting performance like those emoto's. To see it goes slower than many bikes that actually look like ebikes is insane.
