Nebuchadnezzar II (Babylonian cuneiform: Nabû-kudurri-uṣur, meaning "Nabu, watch over my heir"; Biblical Hebrew: נְבוּכַדְנֶאצַּר[d] Nəḇūḵaḏneṣṣar), also spelled Nebuchadrezzar II, was the second Neo-Babylonian emperor, ruling from the death of his father Nabopolassar in 605 BC to his own death in 562 BC. Historically known as Nebuchadnezzar the Great, he is typically regarded as the empire's greatest king. Nebuchadnezzar remains famous for his military campaigns in the Levant, for his construction projects in his capital, Babylon, including the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and for the role he plays in Jewish history. Ruling for 43 years, Nebuchadnezzar was the longest-reigning king of the Chaldean dynasty. By the time of his death, he was among the most powerful rulers in the world.
Possibly named after his grandfather of the same name, or after Nebuchadnezzar I (r. c. 1125-1104 BC), one of Babylon's greatest ancient warrior-kings, Nebuchadnezzar II already secured renown for himself during his father's reign, leading armies in the Medo-Babylonian conquest of the Assyrian Empire. At the Battle of Carchemish in 605 BC, Nebuchadnezzar inflicted a crushing defeat on an Egyptian army led by Pharaoh Necho II, and ensured that the Neo-Babylonian Empire would succeed the Neo-Assyrian Empire as the dominant power in the ancient Near East. Shortly after this victory, Nabopolassar died and Nebuchadnezzar became king.

In Christian eschatology, the Antichrist refers to people prophesied by the Bible to oppose Jesus Christ and substitute themselves in Christ's place before the Second Coming. The term Antichrist (including one plural form) is found four times in the New Testament, solely in the First and Second Epistle of John. The Antichrist is announced as the one "who denies the Father and the Son."
The similar term pseudokhristos or "false Christ" is also found in the Gospels. In Matthew (chapter 24) and Mark (chapter 13), Jesus alerts his disciples not to be deceived by the false prophets, who will claim themselves to be the Christ, performing "great signs and wonders". Three other images often associated with the Antichrist are the "little horn" in Daniel's final vision, the "man of sin" in Paul the Apostle's Second Epistle to the Thessalonians, and the Beast of the Sea in the Book of Revelation.

In Nebuchadnezzar's dream a "holy watcher" descends from heaven to pronounce sentence on tree and king. This is the sole instance of this phrase in the Hebrew Bible, although it echoes the frequent descriptions of God's watchfulness and the word appears several times in the Book of Enoch, where it is usually applied to the fallen angels, but on occasion refers to the holy angels.The watcher's commands to cut down the tree (i.e., Nebuchadnezzar) and strip it are issued, presumably, to the divine beings who carry out God's will.
Symbolic imagery: the tree and the beast
Daniel 4's tree parallels the similar image in Ezekiel 31, where the pharaoh of Egypt is compared to a mighty tree towering above all others with its top in the clouds, a symbol of human arrogance about to be cut down. The metaphor then switches to depict Nebuchadnezzar as a beast dependent on grace for its survival until he learns humility before God. Possibly significantly, the king is restored when he "lifts up" his eyes to heaven.

A Watcher is a type of biblical angel. The word occurs in both plural and singular forms in the Book of Daniel (2nd century BC), where reference is made to the holiness of the beings. The apocryphal Books of Enoch (2nd-1st centuries BC) refer to both good and bad Watchers, with a primary focus on the rebellious ones.

Father hear my prayers. I’m losing hope. My husband is with you I still miss him even after all these years. These pass three years have been difficult. At times I feel so alone especially as a single mom. Since suffering a heart attack two years ago and my on going battle with lupus I’m overwhelmed. Both of my sons are autistic. My dear friend.. I’m 74 .. I live in Australia.. I get v tired at night and I do love your channel., I find it difficult to read my Bible at night due to eyesight and just weariness at the world and its iniquities.. I find if I put one of your videos on with an ear piece, and close me eyes.. it relaxes me so very much and makes everything so calm.. it makes me so calm that I nearly fall asleep and have to re-wind 2 or 3 times but that’s a small inconvenience for the serenity and peace I feel when listening to your readings..
I know there are audio tapes of the Bible but as a pensioner I can’t afford everything that I’d like to buy..
So if u ever get fed up with doing your readings.. accompanied by explanations., maybe u should consider making an audiobook of the Bible.

New print KJV Bibles are currently being edited by AI. Many "typos" so even when reading a KJ Bible, pray for the Holy Spirit to guide you and be a filter for what you are reading.

@@johnstark1372 yes! The KJV my husband bought me is copyright 2017, Job 2:10 (this is just 1 example) it reads....But he said unto her, thou speakest as one of the foolish women speaketh. What? shall we receive good at the hand of God,and shall we not recipient evil? In all this did not job sin with his lips. The last part is supposed to read(in old English) in all this job did not sin with his lips. By replacing where the "not" was placed, it changed the meaning. Almost as posing a question and creating confusion. Also the word diverse is replaced by divers/ as in the plural of diver/ someone who dives into the deep. If you are not aware of the pronunciation being different in old English then it would be read, and therefore perceived as the wrong thing.

My goodness this is so good. Years ago this church called the Philadelphia church of God said to only read the KJV. They shared some scriptures and sure enough once I looked and my copies, it was correct between KJV vs NKJV.

My professor of Biblical studies encouraged us to read the ESV because it was the closest to the original Biblical text found in the Dead Sea scrolls. In the end I would rather be able to read it in the original Hebrew and Greek/Aramaic as they are the original languages of Scripture.
ESV and KJV are the two best English ones imo. Always helps to compare texts to each other and compare them to other parts of the text.
Dead Sea Scrolls has the ENTIRE book of Isaiah, WHEN the Scrolls were compared to KING JAMES VERSION(1611), it MATCHED!! WORD FOR WORD!!! 1,500.year gap, and it proves 1 thing; God PRESERVES HIS WORD!!!! God bless!!!!🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦

I’ve been looking for a ‘story-telling’ aspect of the Bible. Thank you Jesus for blessing this man with a divine gift.
I genuinely enjoy your videos and I read a Douay Rheims Bible which predates the KJV. There are some fallacies I see in your logic. For example you say that the KJV is an uncorrupted Bible but frankly if you want to read the purest form of Scripture you should actually read the Bible in it's original languages not a middle age english translation. Another problem is what if english is not your language? The problem with contemporary Bibles is not the contemporary english as the contemporary english for both the DRA and KJV at the time of their translation was elizbethian english and both were later edited to be read in modern english not unlike Shakespeare and other works of that period. The real issue with contemporary Bibles is modernism and watering the language down to be gender neutral or that they can be heavily abridged otherwise modern Bibles are translated directly from the original language into contemporary languages. You say that Enoch and other Apocryphal works are Scripture yet most KJV Bibles do not have the Deuterocanonical Books wrongly called Apocrypha in such editions of the KJV such as Oxfords publication of the KJV with Apocrypha. It's also rather absurd to claim that such books are Scripture but disregard the Deuterocanonical Books also found in the Dead Sea Scrolls. There's really no reason any Protestant should object to Catholic or Orthodox Christian Bibles when we take into account the Dead Sea Scrolls and that many Jews of antiquity read from that very canon as did the Church which is sometimes refered to as the Alexandrian Canon or the Roman Canon. In other videos you cited the Ethiopian Orthodox Bible which has many more books than the Catholic Bible but oddly will accept their authority on matters pertaining to the canon of Scripture but not theology? I believe even Michael Heiser (RIP) would find some of your claims absurd regarding KJV onlyism or the conspiracy theory that the Church suppressed Enoch and other books when translations could be read in monasteries and libraries and frankly before the printing press or contemporary education most people could neither afford copies of the Bible let alone apocryphal works or read them for that matter. There's also the problem of Sola Scriptura being that if everyone can adequately read and interpret Scripture why then are there so many interpretations no doubt leading the the thousands of different denominations and independent churches? Even the Jews had their own form of magisterium through the midrash and talmud and even then the Early Church had councils and magisterial teachings on Scripture it wasn't until 500 years ago during the reformation that there was as great of a divide on biblical theology. Otherwise I really enjoy your videos but some of things you have said are either historically inaccurate or absurd. Don't even take my word on it look up Inspiring Philosophy who is Protestant unlike myself.

Holy Spirit led me to look up the word: shall. The word: shall is a word used in law terminology, it has legal connotations. Which means when God uses the word shall in His Word, it shall be done.
I have gone to a couple of different churches that are insisting without argument, that the congregation and Sunday school use only the NIV Bible. I am always appalled about this. If you don't read out of the NIV they won't let you read any Bible passage out loud and participate. 😮

It truly saddened me when Nebuchadnezzar threw jesus and the disciples some money for their journey on the ground and hid behind a corner crying. It saddens me that Nebuchadnezzar wasnt willing to leave everything behind to follow jesus like the rest of the disciples. It hurts seeing the world going through the same today. They want to love jesus but arent willing to give up the things needed to give up to follow him.
But we only need the basics and people refuse to give up what the system has built they have no faith in God and thier selves.

In reference to St. Paul and biblical milk for the laddies, this is biblical prime rib. I wish mainline Protestant churches emphasized the practical power of fasting in addition to prayer, regularly and not view it as torture so much.

Hey great videos. The clip you show about only using the KJV has some real issues, the biggest being that the KJV has some errors. In Acts 12:4 the KJV translates Pascha as Easter, the word is however Passover and in all other places the translators put Passover. Please do not fall into the misguided doctrine of KJV only, it is not true.

When I was a kid I remember a Sunday school story about a wealthy man who sent his servants to be saved by Christ and the servants said that their master would not come himself because he was not worthy of saving. Christ's response was "To each according to his faith." I can't find where this is in the bible so I wonder if I remember it wrong?
I think the master of those servants sent them not to be saved but because his child was dying and he was unworthy of going himself.

Actually I believe it was an army officer not a Jew who sent people, knowing Jesus Christ could heal his gravely ill servant. Yes he said " I am not worthy to have you in my house".

King James did not like women and hated his mother. I believe he took her life. Kjv was written in 1611. In 1587 he wrote "Demonology and spellcasting". I have heard the Lord's Prayer in KJV obviously but also heard it with translation from Aramaic to English and its very different. More cosmic.

Try reading a copy of the Thomas Mathew Version.
Its basicilly the kJV but older and harder to read because Old English was like incredibly different.
Thats why i read from the New Living Bible, since they disnt translate from a translation, nor changing the context. It goes back to the original languages, and translates from there.

It was always said to me that the King James Bible was more accurate but never followed through to check. I’m just starting to read the Bible more and have been reading the NIV. I’m thankful for it, but now I definitely got to change it up after this video.

I would suggest still getting a KJV because the TMV was written in old english which means modern words look like this "Mor O Leff M Nt Reaffy A Anglish Teasher" so I like to use it for cross reference since the KJV uses around 80% of the TMV.

There's only one version of the Bible slightly more accurate than the KJV, and it mostly has to do with idioms or names, or any number of cultural things. It's called the HRV Bible, or the Bible that tells the story from the eyes of the people who wrote the book. I've got one the few copies ever made. And I'll cherish it.

Is there a Bible older than KJV that I can read? I've encountered far more detractors of the KJV within originalist circles than supporters.
The Wycliffe version was the first English Bible. It was translated by John Wycliffe and his fellow believers. A lot of what l find interesting is KJV onliests falsely claim it is the first dispite that there were other English translations previously,then they claim it is the only inspired or final inspired English version dispite the fact the KJV does have errors in it where the Wycliffe does not as well as other bibles; was authorized by men who were part of the Anglican Church which claims the English King is the head of the Church which is apostasy; and finally if it was indeed the final inspired Bible then why did the KJV originally have the Apocrypha and then have it removed about 100 years later. If it was the final version why has it been revised and edited for centuries since its publication?
My conlusion thus is it is good to read all versions. Some are more corrupted than others, some less.

Powerful words at the end there. I recommend anyone to go through Romans to truly understand that we have complete power through Christ. But truly take your time and understand it in the KJV take notes.
I’m not too sure about your breakdown of which part of the statue represents what kingdom. Chapter 2 verse 43 alludes to a foreign species ( probably nephilim/fallen angel based) they shall mingle themselves with the seeds of men’. But if you are right then that means there needs to be a Re translation of the statue. Otherwise how can one miss the current application, history repeats? Round 2? I’m not sure but it’s worth looking in to it 🤔

At 20:36 When you are saying only read King James, what is of God truly. You picking at basically nothing rather it's interpretation in context. Nothing was lost in my opinion. Then I pose this question to you, why is it that the King James version left out the name of God from the Old Testament books? The Dead Sea Scrolls show that older copies of the scriptures contained His name. What is it said in Revelation about taking from this book (God's word)? Do you think it's ok that God's name was taken out of the scriptures?

I cant believe this whole time i was reading the the wrong bible, the niv was currupted and i had no clue. thank you for opening my eyes. you do the Lords work i must get the original bible because i need the truth. it upsets me that the whole time these "translations" removed important information on the word of god.
Ah I see you called it out lol. But honestly overall I just don't trust anything related to King James. I went through a lot of his other books. That and I was raised with that book in my family church. Not that it matters but I've also read the Torah, the Quran, and pretty much all associated books and hidden ones
