Absolutely. Just sitting there cooking but not noticing because the water cools you. Yup... Don't think I've ever left a water park without a red chest from a little too long on the lazy river
That octopus on the ice cream is adorable. :D Also, as a redheaded Australian who got a horrific sunburn as a 1yo in Spain just from the sun bouncing off the white pavement (I was wearing a hat/sunscreen on my face; I ended up badly burnt under my chin), I was glad you broke up that pathing. Looks better, too, as well as being more sun smart and practical.
your unfinished planco series with the western/pirate themes was the first planco videos i watched when i first bought the game. really enjoy watching your content and loving this planco 2 stuff so far, can't wait to see what you come up with in this game!
Can you do a park tour at the end of the video so we can see more in detail? You go hard on making it look good, let us feast in the visual bliss that is your designs.
Lovely pathwork! It's nice to see the planconians using the darker path winding through the white plaza, that's a nice detail. I'm very excited to see the marketplace develop! The gelateria is super cute!
@@Geekism I get that. Coaster building for me has just been recreating my favorite coasters and learning the ways of custom-supporting it. Plus surrounding it with the natural themes and idea I have for my park.
This is so cool looking! Can’t wait to get my hands on it in three days time. If you wanted to take a step into implied realism I would check out behind the scenes of the typhoon lagoon wave machine and build a big box to resemble that. it’s kind of crazy to see how much space it takes up.
Does the lazy river have a current? That seems like the main problem - the people aren't going into it because there's no water movement, so they're just interacting with it as a pool. Is there a way to add a current?
There is a current, yeah. Jets have been added... the problem was them not getting off the entrance slopes and into the stream. Removing the slopes has fixed it and they now float around
In plan co 1, I started making a replica of Center Parcs sherwood forest. From those who saw how far I got they couldn't believe how accurate I was getting it (I know the place like the back of my hand) Anyway, nowhere near had finished it, and ultimately it wouldn't be a particularly functional park apart from shops and hotels ect. ANYWAY. now we have water park features, the build makes more sense as CP's is known for its 'sub tropical swimming paradise' The one great thing about the place is the 'rapids' slide going from outside to inside, naturally entering the slide just from a normal pool, and obviously this can now be a functional thing using the lazy river to an extent, just wont be able to create the gradients and drops in the river which would of been cool. Those from the UK will know what I mean if you have been to CP's. Anyway, looks like with PlanCo 2 I'll be giving it another go.
Wow this is one of the best parks I’ve seen! Such a beautiful setting I can really imagine I’m there! You’ve definitely come a long way since your first parks on Planco 1. So glad you are back and enjoying the game!! Can’t wait to get my hands on it!! 😊
That is absolutely gorgeous and very real looking. I'm sure it's also much easier to create something like that compared to a similar park in PC1 (obviously minus pools). I'm so hyped to play the game myself from watching your videos!
Hey Jonti, glad to see you're back! Don't know if it's relevant but I saw on another vid there's specific lazy river jets you can place separately so not sure if they're needed to make it work properly but might be worth testing.
Looks as beautiful as expected Jonti I was having a rough day, but watching you play PlanCo or PlanCo 2 often helps me get through. Very inspiring for me as well
Another amazing video Jonty! I've been counting down the minutes waiting for your next video on Planco 2 and this build has been awesome, keep up the good work!
When I played the first game I made nothing but put down the vanilla stuff. I’m looking forward to trying to do more of this creative stuff, although I also feel a little nervous.
I rly envy you Jonti, you have lot of creativity for builds, and lot of patience. I will probably just take blueprints from the workshop and put in my park, but i still enjoy the game bcz i know lot of ppls contribuited for the creativity.
Idea: Just wondering if you could add a resturant, since this planet coaster has the table stores instead of just boxes, so you could add a massive path indoors than add those shops tables to the end, with chairs and tables making it like a resturant. I always wanted to do this in the first game but couldn’t. if you don’t want to You don’t have to though. Just an idea.
It's good to be back in the planco mood, loving this, sad to hear no custom billboards and music currently tho, but alas it must be something they'll bring in later
Love, love , love your creativity, you inspire me to push myself more when Planco 2 arrives, thank you. Just a quick question. . .are we able to use blueprints and toolkit items we have from Planet Coaster?
can you connect all your water slides into the lazy river? then use it to progress around the park and enter other rides. I saw this in atlantis dubai loved it was just one as you said kinetic energy
That build is so nice i'm litterly shaking to start playing this game too, it looks so good and can't wait to dive in wednesday, but as a graphic designer i can't help but notice the whole video that the frontier workshop logo is pinched from the sides to fit in the square, like whyy you do dis to your own logo frontier xd

@Geekism strange well you are not the only one ! Ive seen every youtuber have the same problems.......i guess they are working on a update and thats why ? Not sure

I am so loving that you can put shops down without having some wonky, two-metre wide pavement shooting out from the main path. I know I'm going on a lot about the updated path creation in Planco2, but that was the worst part of 1, imo.
Your comment about water parks only having one pool I am not sure how true it is as I think it isn't unusual to have more than one I have seen quite a few with more than one pool, often they are differnt types, so the main one is the wave pool but often they have a warm/bubbly pool aimed for adults to relax in in addition to some hot tubs, my experience is that this is more common with parks where the water park is the only pool at the resort (if it has hotels) and very often (including disney) they have kids pools So I don't think having multiple pools takes away from the realism.
I have played yesterday the campaign tutorial, on the launch. But I saw the people were stacking up on the walking paths, so the NPC people has to be updated a little bit even to use the pools how we create them. And @Frontier should have update the game with 'tube slides' and 'inflatables' in the pool or Lazy river to purchase.. haven't seen that yet. I agree working with the new path tool is not so smooth as PlanetCoaster 1, but it has more options...
Lovely river! Do guests have to buy the tubes to get on slides? 🤔 I get that the idea is for them to make you money in franchise mode and all that but it just feels strange
Daft question I won't be able to check untill I get my hands on the game... is the lazy river 'blocked'? I swear that I saw dev footage of exactly what you're trying to build, with the 'beach' going down to the river. I think possibly the beach needs to not lower the depth of any part of the lazy river's 'loop', but cann connect to the edge of that loop? Maybe? (It's hard to describe without a visual aid...) Apologies if I'm way off base or have missed something you did in the video! 😅

My current computer is Windows 8.1 and the one I bought has Windows 11 and i7 10700, RTX 2070 Super. This is what I didn't like about the first Planet Coaster, it doesn't have working waterslides and pools, just fake waterslides on the workshop. I liked RCT3 Soaked! but the graphics are worse.
That is very disappointing it’s only one way for the guest to enter into pools, I have never been to a Waterpark that had a traditional ladder for entry, it’s always a slope or bigger steps
