First episodes were very tough to get through as Asta's voice... Well, it takes some time to get used to. After getting used to it the series is still pretty mundane. It's not bad, but not great either. Animation quality is inconsistent, though it seems a bit more consistent these days. I'd say give it a try if you have nothing better to do. Personally I think I wouldn't have committed to the series if I weren't there from the very beginning, but I will see it through till the end now since I'm already invested.

It stopped being a problem I believe after the first 15 episodes. But yes, that first episode truly was an abomination.
