Congratulations on 200!!! Paul is the best candidate for such an occasion, I’d argue the best Vineyard episode was Paul’s first. Many legendary episodes it’s hard to say. Vineyard forever!
I kept watching to see if the ceiling fans would synchronize their rpm's......great interview! We usually have a few strong microbrews at the brewery before band practice, then sip and sober up on N/A beers back at the music space......all about managing the coasting into the landing
1. I reckon Paul is the most fun and easy personality of the Osees, no slight against everyone else intended. 2. I acknowledge/confess that the music of The Clash has been a happy-place type of music to me for a long time, but my remaining capacity to still enjoy that is extremely limited. I agree about Goo Goo Muck and New Kind of Kick. Those Lux and Ivy favorites compilations are quite good, BTW (e.g. Smell of Cramps) 3. Of course the Stooges albums. (Shake Appeal/Tight Paints has reminded me of Jerry Lee Lewis for some reason, in an amazing way, and a Fisher Body stamping plant that Iggy has talked about.) Suicide (1st album) and the first Devo album are 10/10--so is The Idiot. The Kinks--of course. 4. How does Sunn O))) & Boris Altar, Red Resistor, or Cosmic Interception go down out among the Joshua trees? On Land (Eno) and Eno, Moebius & Roedelius, After the Heat work for me out there.

Seems like a really cool, down to earth guy.
Just saw Dan & Paul rip it up at the Bellweather last Friday. Such a great show!
