Shade 41 is much brighter on you. I think I will try the concealer. It’s expensive, but my hereditary dark circles are my biggest cosmetic issue, so I’ll spend on something that works.

@marionandrews I also have the hereditary deep purple under eye crepe skin from birth now 65. This works like a charm and feels good on my skin. It is moisturizing without looking greasy or shiny, and never caky. I tried to set it with powder the first few times. It looked caky and dry. This is when I realized I used too much of the product. The powder is not necessary when you get the right amount of concealer. Good luck. It has been a true treasure for someone like me....after years of fighting the dark circles.
Wow, you did put so much work in this video, the checks, everything!!!🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩This foundation is THE Chanel foundation that i really really love, was wearing it yesterday evening together with the matching concealer: power combination! I still love my CDP, Koh Gen Do, Chantecaille and some other foundations, but this was THE discovery of last year, at least, what i tried. I have the new CDP The Foundation still new, not tried in the packaging, as i don't want to many foundations at once to be opened, bought it Black Friday, wait a bit longer, such a waiste otherwise. I love love love this foundation, don't even use a primer, just smash it on my face with my forever foundation brush BK 101, sometimes i powder it, yesterday i used a gentle setting spray. I love the foundation and concealer!🌸 I removed all the product from the lid on the concealer and threw it away! The lid is a tight screw on and now there is NO MORE MESS!! I am a tiny bit lighter and cooler than you my shades are 32 for concealer and 32 for foundation.🌸Thanks for the video 🌸

I love the concealer and the jar. The concealer did not settle in my fine lines or wrinkles. It still looked good after 10 hours of wear. I went with color 20 and it’s a bit light for me. Im going to order #30. I seem to have a year round tan………without trying. As for the messy lid……the beautiful jar wins over the messiness. I took some of the concealer and put it in a little Chanel sample jar. No mess now. Plus it keeps me from constantly opening the large jar to the elements. Just a thought.
Great review. How does the Sublimage compare to the Chantecaille Future Skin foundation? I use the Sisley concealer, and there's nothing like it. As to application, I only use it on the inner corner and under about the inner half of my undereye. It emphasizes lines anyway you look at it, because it attracts light, even before it settles. Also I never powder undereye because it's aging. Love those lipsticks. Thanks for doing a wear test on them. Nobody ever does that and it helps me make purchase decisions. Thanks for the video!💚

Hi Grace, I was interested to see your Sublimage concealer wear test then intrigued for the Sublimage foundation, too. I liked shade 41 as it seemed a better match to the colouring on your neck, so a more seamless overall look. I liked the concealer and will look for a shade sample when I'm at a counter. I have a few concealers to finish before I make a purchase. I loved both lipstick shades though really liked the first shade, a brighter shade for Spring and Summer. Look forward to hearing the refinements you make with the Sublimage products as you refine how you wear them. Chanel No 1 foundation is a favourite for medium coverage, challenging my longtime fave Lancome Le Teint Idole. Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation is my favourite full coverage foundation; Chanel Ultra Le Teint is a solid runner up.

Grace!!!! What a great, helpful, and informative video!!!! I really appreciate these wear tests with check-ins. You're so thorough; you give us the information we are looking for and information we might not have known we needed to boot. I'm really thinking about one of the lipsticks. I'm on a low-buy year so I can kick up my luxury shoe and bag collection. But I will still need to replace things and to keep my face looking fresh. These sessions are so helpful. I'll be very curious to see what you think of this foundation against the Number 1. I have the Number 1 and really like it. That said, I typically pull for the Chantecaille Future Skin or the Sisley Phyto-Teint Nude when I wear foundation. I've recently gotten back into the Waterfresh Tint, too. But I have some events coming up and I'm considering whether I need to up my foundation game. I would really be curious to get your take on the various brands and products that you use and what makes you pull for a specific formula. Thanks for all you do! I just love watching your content.

I do reach for Tom ford trace less soft Matt foundation with his emotion proof concealer. It might be my skin though, it works the best and I have tried many. Right now I prefer the cream vs the pump. A lot of that has to do with the shade match of BD41 bs B40. I need to try them on side by side for a definitive answer, but from what o read the pump is a serum texture the jar which is creamy. But the performance on the one in the jar was very impressive over that many hours 🌟

I am so glad you had the same type of experience with the Sublimage concealer I did. It will show in the fine lines if I use too much. I dot it on like you do with the La Prairie and use my finger to pat into the skin from the inside outward to blend. I was not able to sample or purchase the Sublimage foundation when I ordered the concealer. It was in the process of being reformulated. I will check my local Chanel counter for samples. Can you please tell me which primer you liked best and why? Thank you for the great review as always.

All the makeup looks great on you. I do like the BD41 foundation on you. And the concealer looks great! Now I know I would wear shade 40 in the concealer. I think the BD 41 would look work on me to in that cream foundation. But, the liquid doesn’t have that shade, the Sublimage le Teint. Lipsticks are both pretty on you. Thanks for demonstrating.

I am 55 and have more darkness and lines under my eyes and it is the best I have found . I too use b40 and for everyone I am medium skin tone , neutral undertone and am b40 in all of Chanel ..

I really love the Sublimage concealer, pretty much threw out everything else except the La Prairie which is a better match color-wise for me. I still have trouble with any concealer on a patch of under eye skin I have just past the halfway point toward my outer eye. It’s a very thin skin, a crepey top layer. Concealer seems to cake/gum the thin skin together. I can’t seem to smooth concealer over that bit of crepey skin. A concealer brush doesn’t do the trick.

Lately I’ve been going with the more golden shade of Chanel foundation even though I am more neutral. I find the yellow tone counteracts the redness around my mouth and nose area. I wear BD 21. I may need to give the corrector one peche. The concealer is too messy and way too expensive for my budget.

41 is better. 40 is too pink and looks a bit ashy on you.
