So comforting to know there are other goth Christians. Being a Christian doesn't mean you all have the same fashion, music, decor interests. God created us all unique. Wearing black is not a sin. She is so authentic and a breath of fresh air. What makes me sick is the people on here judging her because of her looks and yet their pastor is probably addicted to porn(the percentages are insanely high on this) but they adore him. They also "worship" Trump and that is ok. Give me a break. Kat, you know your heart and your love for Jesus so please ignore these foolish people turning people away.

@@appointedaday-ur6st Absolutely. People can have different callings, different styles of dress, different interests and not “look” like a typical Christian. I believe that’s the way God wants it. Kat will reach some many people that a conservative business person with a suit could not reach. I love Jesus, and I love darker clothing, imagery, and music. It’s part of my personality. Part of who God made me to be. And I still accept Jesus sacrifice to completely pay for my sin.

I also choose not to attend meetings anymore. I'm a little over 2 years sober and I got to a point where I didn't want to have to think about addiction all day every day. I felt like I couldn't enjoy happy days if I forced myself to go to meetings all the time. Praise God for the power to stay sober congrats Kat!

Looking at the comments made one thing very clear. American Christians have made our religion look so terrible in the eyes of those who are not saved. I hope all of you remember only god can judge, our job is to pray for her. Sanctification is a process.
Ok first I agree on one thing anyway, American and much of first world Christianity is far from biblical Christianity, Unrecognizable to the early prenicene church

But we do have to OBEY Jesus we do have to Count the cost, and we Do have to become citizens of the Kingdom of Christ which is Contrary to the kingdoms of the world, Jesus laid out exactly how we are to be different and depart from the ways of the world in the sermon on the mount for one
You cannot serve 2 masters you cannot obey these things and party with the worlds music

He in fact commended them for being obedient in the small things but then rebuked them for being disobedient in the big things
Most of what people think is a rebuke for being self righteous, Is really Jesus rebuking them for not being righteous They tried to look so outward but inward they were full of sin deceit, greed, corruptions galore
Remembers Jesus always warned agianst sin pointed out peoples sin, said mean things at times, and always had urgency about repenting from sin
this is NOT what is meant by self righteousness though many try and make that case you will not find that in the bible at all
It was their intentions which was evident in their fruit which was their sin, This group this Sanhedrin was know as the most corrupt of all time, and this is without adding Jesus trial, they were known for false witnesses greed and theft
What you will find is they were unrighteous, because their sin, Jesus EVEN said unless your righteousness exceeds that of them you will in NO WAY enter the kingdom of heaven
KVD is such a likeable person. I really appreciate the way she carries herself and how she treats others. I was so happy to see her baptism video and hear that she has managed to find peace in her life.

I've been blessed to spend the last 10 years sharing my addiction and recovery story around the U.S. in schools, community groups, etc. The more that people like you and KVD are transparent and open about your own journeys, the more that those currently still struggling with alcohol and/or drugs realize that they can make recovery work too. It always surprises me that Christians expect perfection from new converts and forget how much God had to chisel away on them...
Here's a thought...pray for her, her husband and her son. Pray that God is continuing His mighty work in her and that those Saints who are around her will be the continual support they need to grow in Godliness. Also, pray specifically for her husband to be saved and become the Godly priest in the home he will be called to be.

@@kimsvlog8765 You weren't 100% changed overnight though. Sanctification is a process. She is showing many fruits of sanctification. I admit, the darkness she still dresses up in, is disconcerting. That said, I was prideful, drunken whore, before I was saved. And it took some time to be broken by God, before I had most of my sinful infestation removed. Further, neither you, nor I have reached a state of sinless perfection. That doesn't happen until we are in His presence.
This is why we pray for this sister and ask God to continue to peal off the layers she is covered in. We pray for her husband and son as well as her church...

I'm so glad you went to God Kat. I can't express how important it is. Drugs do open you up to demonic Possession. It's true. I jad demons attached to me, and literally attacked several times. Amen Kat! It is a spiritual battle! I also support your decision on your baby. I cant even write it in the comments. I regret so much of having so many shots with my baby, and myself. Never again.

You can not have one foot in the light and the other in the darkness!
It's a process. Not an instant change. You have people who call themselves christian and celebrate Halloween. And God does not approve. Christians that go to the club Saturday night. Christians. Did you have a conversion like Paul? I doubt it. Few have. The Holy Spirit will convict that person and they will change. Peeling the layers like an onion. I'm praying for her and her family. And I'm praying for you. Her testimony makes my spirit leap for joy. Transformation takes time. I came from a life of homosexual sin. Abstained from the act for years but still called myself homosexual even though I had been convicted it was a sin. After a couple of years I no longer view or call myself a homosexual. I am a new creation. Give her a chance. Because in her current stage in her conversion I would want to fellowship with her than some in the comments who claim to be Christian.

I recall a dream in which I began to watch a horror movie and lay witness to a frozen snow wasteland and a dog surrounded by 5 people began to listen to the five voices around him and dig a hole that ran super deep into a cavern with dark crystallite and the faint illumination around the party, and as a dream does I remember things progressing and then being one of the characters in the hole. I saw that there was a village down there where parasitic worms had taken control and ravaged the denizens of the cave I began to run because these fucking things were ferocious they might as well have been a kracken leaping from a sea to snatch your body. I began to take hold of a rope and climb out of the hole we dug having to dodge arrows. I arrived out the of the hole and sealed it a small lid and told myself I got to warn everybody about this shit.
A small child began to climb out of the hole and I had a brief glimmer of joy that the child was going to make it and we could survive the ordeal, however, I took notice of my surroundings and saw that man who appeared to me the likeness of the popularized image of Jesus dead and zombified to a grotesque degree and to my horror the child had worms in his mouth and eyes as he did not survive.
Then I awoke and remembered that I sometimes imagine myself as a child holding on to Jesus, a child of the same physical description I held, and that a Dog is a symbol of unbelief in the bible and that demons are mentioned in the bible as beings in an unseen realm just like you can't see COVID or gases with the naked eye and may require a special lense to peer into another layer of reality going on around you, and that demons are named as beings that spread misinformation as false ideas; thereby, trying to spark and encourage hate and wicked fear, and that not every voice or thought that pops into your head is yours.
That to me the idea of Jesus dead and the child being a symbol of being unlearned and unstable in joining and becoming the dog in his descent had no more a savior as Jesus was dead to him. @@dhblue431 When I was born again, it was like lightning went through the top of my head (after fasting and praying for the Baptism of Fire and the Holy Ghost and repenting of my sins, Matt. 3:11). I immediately lost my disposition to do evil and immediately experienced the mighty change of heart. I was born again instantly (and immediately became a new and different, more Christlike creature). I was and am not perfect and the sanctification process has continued fine-tuning me since that day in 1996. The day after I was baptized by the power and grace of Jesus Christ's Atonement I could not hurt an ant or a fly and still take spiders outside in a glass instead of killing them (just one of many examples of the drastic overnight change (just like Paul). I could not imagine the day after the fire of the Ruach haKodesh surging through me writing, posting or sharing lyrics knowing young girls are looking up to me saying, "treat me wrong, treat me wrong," or saying to the vampire in the song, "come steal my fate." Or saying, "don't care about right or wrong," and even if I made a mistake in public like that the Holy Spirit wouldn't waste any time convicting me to repent publically if what I said or did was harming people or giving the wrong impression of Jesus Christ and his gospel because no one is promised tomorrow. But instead of saying, "hey I just released a song that is having a bad influence on people three days ago, and I am retracting it" she is getting paid for those lyrics even as we speak (and unapolagetically) speaking favorably of the song in interviews over the past few days. The Bible says, "Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of vampires; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table and of the table of vampires." 1 Corinthians 10:21. Jesus said we have to sacrifice everything to follow Him, not just some things. Why is Kat not willing to sacrifice vampires to follow Jesus?

Sometimes it takes a while to be sanctified by the Lord. Especially if you have participated in building your entire world upside down according to Satan's will. Many of us go to this length, almost to death, and God isn't in a hurry to sanctify us in our impatient time. Sometimes though, it is complete and immediate. @@daniellelinsley6931
