@@discokidd1264 The concept of being a lottery pick is that you end up going to a bad team just like LeBron went to a 17 win team out of high school and doubled the win total in his rookie season. What are you talking about. He took his team to the finals at age 22. Michael Jordan doesn’t have a winning season without Scottie Pippen. Wade only won with either Shaq or Lebron. Bosh never made it past the first round without LeBron. So what is your point

LeBron did not make his teammates better, just absorbed the stats of his teammates. This is evident in his uncontested rebounds, which are among the one of the best in the league. LeBron's style of play doesn't change no matter who he's with. He just wanted his role player teammates to be an All-Star or All-NBA caliber by making Big3 multiple times.

But in almost all of his games he has not given up the last pass, controlling the team's rhythm, deciding who will shoot, etc. Only in the 2008 team and perhaps now we see him playing without wanting everything just for himself. Nikola Jokic. Nikola averages more points, rebounds and assists than LeBron, but no one says he makes his teammates better, and a quick analysis of their games and how they assist their teammates will show you, without an ounce of a doubt, that LeBron gets undeserved praise due to narratives and star power (by name) while Jokic causes a huge impact on his team, running plays on their favor yet he gets called a stat padder.

Thank you for finally making this video. I've been saying this for years and when I say years I'm talking about well before the pandemic even started. But I've been so on this. You've actually missed a couple. From day one he was playing with people that averaged 20 points a game or more and as soon as they started playing with him they would drop by a large margin. Ricky Davis averaged 20 points a game before LeBron went down to 15 Anton Jameson and Larry Hughes both average 20 points a game prior to playing with LeBron and both dropped to 15 after playing with LeBron and what makes this even worse is that both of them play together alongside Gilbert arenas and all three in the same season. Averaged 20 points a game but by themselves neither of them could average 20 lb a game with LeBron.

I agree with most of the content of this video. However, there is one player who certainly played way better because of LeBron; Matthew Dellavedova.
He was playing so good, there was brief talk that he could be Finals MVP after the Cavs took a 2-1 lead. Then the refs started calling touch fouls on him, LeBron ran out of gas, and the Cavs collapsed.

LeBron fans actually try to use the success of the 1993/94 Bulls _against_ Jordan. But that season actually proves the opposite of what
they try to argue. First of all, the on court leaders of that particular Bulls squad were Pippen, Horace and BJ. All three guys had grown
up playing with Michael and learned how to be champions playing beside him. So when he Jordan retired, the habits that they developed
while playing with MJ continued forward through that 93 season. The Bulls roster also added talent that year as well. So while Jordan was
missing, the Bulls' were a deeper team than the year before.
Kobe once did an interview where they asked him about this notion of "making teammates better". Kobe said "if you actually make guys better,
they should be able to compete even when you're not there. Passing guys the ball isn't making them better. Making guys better is about passing
on some of your own competitive DNA unto them. "
And that is what Jordan was able to do to with his Bulls teammates.

Wade's career got sabotaged by Bron. The King Snake came slithering only to choke in 2011. Won 2, lost another won and then left Wade when LeBron doesn't have use for him anymore. Would've respected Wade's career more and I'm sure if it was only him and Chris Bosh, with a slew of good role players they would've still contended in the East, instead of recruiting "no loyalty - statpadding" Bron. Then the Original King Snake "went home" to Cleveland because he saw fresh meat with Kyrie and the stole Kevin Love from Wolves only to make him a spot up shooter. When KD got called a snake, he atleast factually improved the team, LeBron gets his stats, but actually is detrimental to the entire team. LeBron is the most self-centered basketball player ever.

I'm gonna repeat the same question I've asked on other channels looking for someone to answer.
Can someone please explain why people think longevity is metric of comparison please. Since the 2000's players have had access to
    1) Injury Prevention and Risk Diagnosis Medical Tech
    2) Personalized Nutrition and Genomics Tailored Training
    4) Robotic Exoskeletons to Assist in Rehabilitation
    5) Gene Therapy
    6) Physiotherapy in both 6) Electrotherapy and 7) Cryotherapy
    8) Telehealth Medicine 9) Stem Cells
I can add more but these where some of not all of them. Plus theirs also some that were available in the 90's but we're either to expensive or not as advanced like robotic assisted surgery and MRI technology.
Doctors didn't have the same access to knowledge or the same level variety of drugs like today. Hell mf's barely started having dial up internet in most homes in the early 2000's. Players didn't have as much money as today either. They were paid by their performance not for what the could potential do. So why would players not be able to play longer and be more healthy when they have the luxury of spending millions a year on their body. Tell me what's more impressive seriously accomplishing all the stats and trophy's everything over a 20+ year career or accomplishing more in half the that time with more physicality and greater risk of injury. If players sit out more games, don't have to give as much effort on defense if they choose, are able to spend millions a year on their body, don't have to worry about the physicality why would they not be able to play more years. Don't get me started on how LeBron doesn't always put the same level of effort in on defense as he does on offense so he unreliable at best lets not pretend like because he could play defense that it's good enough. If he could he would. If we're playing a competitive sport why would you pick and choose when you wanna be competitive. You play to win your supposed to give if your all. LeBron stopped title chasing and started stat chasing that's why he likes to sit out on more challenging teams like when he the doctors told him he needed to rest his hurt ankle for a day. Why would a doctor ask you to rest it for only a day if it was serious enough they suggest you sit out it would be for more then one game it takes time to heal but the next nights he plays the game with no visible strain and no less minutes played but against a easier opponent. He can scores 40 points against a average team and then sit out the next game like he's to tired or hurt. He's only played all 82 games twice in his hole career. LeBron has been pretending for years now he's so old this might the year he retires for about 5 years now why because everything he does becomes more amazing when you think he's so old he might retire but I promise you he has at least a 25 year career. He puts less strain on his body by spending less effort playing all out, takes more time off to recover and spends more money on his body then every NBA player in NBA history. He will have at least a 25 year career mark my words. Todays players and fans use longevity as a metric because they don't appreciate the luxuries they have. They think everyone must have had the same doctors healthcare money technologies and every other advantage to play as long as them and then act like they some how shouldn't be more athletic. Most think athleticism is skill and talent. Longevity is only a metric when you compare players with the same advantages. So please tell me why they thought longevity should be used because it's the only metric LeBron is guaranteed that MJ couldn't win. I really want someone to try explaining longevity now anyone.

This idea that LeBron fans try to push about him making his teammates better is downright insulting to the intelligence of anybody with even a fraction of a brain.
Never in my life have I seen a player who was average on his own, who then suddenly flourished and broke out while playing with LeBron.
What I have seen on the other hand, is big time star players who fizzled down to glorified role players the instant they joined with LeBron. I've seen that many times.
LeBron is the greatest prima Donna in professional basketball history. When he's on a team EVERYTHING has to be about him. The team is built around maintaining HIS talent and HIS stats. Teammates are forced to sacrifice their normal game age play in ways that isn't natural for them so that they can maximise HIS effectiveness.
He doesn't make players better. He destroys their careers. Like a leech he sucks the life out of every team he goes to and every player he plays with. He sucks it all up until there's no more life left there and all that's left is a husk...then he moves on to the next place and does it all again. He's the most destructive force in the history of the game, and the only reason he's able to do this (when no other player ever could) is because the NBA has groomed him from the age of 17/18 to be "the prodigy" and have gotten off their knees for him.

Kryie and Wade was very little. But he has NEVER made them better. The HEAT organization made Lebron less passive. But he has always been a PASSIVE player before joining the Heat. GOAT Jordan has NEVER played passive. Which is why this goat conversation is so stupid. LEBRON is not even on Kobe level. Dont even get close to Jordan.

    • @ryanhoyt8369
      @ryanhoyt8369 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

So basically you're saying LeBron can't be the GOAT cause he plays the game the right way, like passing out of a double or triple team to an open teammate? Also it's hard to imagine a plyers who's 4th all time in assist, second during the playoffs only passes when a double team comes. Have you ever watched LeBron play? And I get it, he's not ultra aggressive when it comes to scoring like MJ or Kobe, but you do know there's more to basketball than just scoring? LeBron is the best all around player we have ever seen and the stat sheets back it up.

  • @ryanhoyt8369

People's hatred for LeBron turns them into idiots. You want me to believe a player who's 4th all time in assist, second all time in the playoffs, makes his team mates worse? If you're the best player on a team and then a better player joins obviously your numbers are gonna dip. Only so many steals, rebounds, assist, and points to go around. I mean come on, even Pippen's numbers went up slightly when Jordan retired the first time. You gonna say Jordan made Pippen worse?

Making teammates better > This is a big misconception. LJB provides easy shots to his teammates, but he does not make them better. If that were so, why would LBJ’s teams collapse when he’s not there? Didn’t he make his teammates better? So they should be able to thrive in his absense. Everybody says LBJ makes his teammates better and MJ didn’t. You've gotta be kidding!!! Then why is it that every time he leaves the court his team collapses?!!? Tell me!!! I'm listening. Is that making your teammates better or dependent?! If you can’t play without me, I haven’t made you better, I’ve made you dependent on me. I haven’t taught you how to hunt, I’ve been hunting for you. If I’m not around, you'll starve. Everybody talks about MJ having Pippen and Phil for all his rings. Well, who were Pippen and Phil before MJ? Nobodies. They needed MJ as much as MJ needed them to win. MJ made Pippen, taught him everything. As much as I love Scottie, he wouldn’t have turned into one of the 50 greatest if it hadn't been for MJ. MJ took him under his wing and taught him the game, the tricks, enhancing Pippen’s skills and demanding the best Pippen he could be. Let’s remember my earlier point. Did LBJ teach Wade, Bosh, Kyrie, Davis, Love, Allen or Shaq how to play. No. They were all great players and had been their own teams’ best player by the time LBJ joined them. When MJ retired the first time, the Bulls did extremely well without him, NOT despite MJ, BECAUSE of him. The Bulls made the playoffs and went deep, but they didn't win. Pippen and Phil were still their. Why didn’t they win then?! Cause their closer and most important player was not there. The team did pretty well because MJ had taught those players and had made them better, independent to a degree, maybe not totally that they wouldn’t need MJ to close games or win rings, but enough to do pretty well without him. That is what a teacher and a parent should do. If you’re a good teacher, you’ll make your students learn how to live without you, not depend on you. Same with parents. They teach their kids to live on their own someday. So, stop with the non-sense that LBJ makes his teammates better. One quick point: I’ve heard people say MJ had the schooling of Dean Smith and Phil Jackson to help him win, and that LBJ has never had a top coach like them. I’ll tell you why that is. MJ was humble enough to accept coaching, because he knew he had to learn from those who knew more than him in order to reach his own best. The point is not that LBJ has never had a top coach to HELP him, it’s he won’t allow anybody to coach him. He is his own coach. Not only does he step over every coach he’s ever had, but he will also dictate the play on the court. He IS the system. MJ would accept to play under a system if that meant winning. Some might even argue that had MJ not played under a system, he’d have even better on-court stats because he’d have been able to do whatever he wanted on the court. Basically, what happens with LBJ. That's it. Case closed.

I been saying for years. Diminished productivity and roles. To win with him you need to surround yourself with shooters and hybrid bigs that don't clog the lane. They won, but had to sacrifice roles... He doesn't make anyone better. Especially since eventually he can use those diminished stats as a reason to get you traded or for him to leave. Win how you win, but don't tell me what I'm seeing.
