there once was a king || castiel & dean

I heard this fairy tale during our yearly Christmas-church-journey and I immediately though of Cas and Dean. It's by Søren Kierkegaard but I don't know which name it had -- so therefore couldn't find it. I tried to retell it as good as possible but maybe there are a few changes in there. But anyway I tried my best and I actually like the outcome :)
The music is a music box version of the Scientist by JoshuaSandersMusic ( / joshuasaundersmusic ) which I adore!
There once was a king
who fell in love with a beggar
and while he wanted her so much
he knew that his riches and his power
would never allow a man like him
to marry a girl like her
so the king searched for advise
in his closest ranks
one advised him to get over the girl
an other told him to order her to marry him
but none of them seemed to be enough
for the king and his torn heart
but when the jester came in
and the king confessed his misery
the jester answered him with:
"Power may open many doors
but the key to one's heart is love."
Having come to a decision
the king pulled down his crown
shed his glorious cloak
and left his ancestors' castle
to ask the girl for her hand
because he knew
that all his gold and diamonds
were worthless
without a love in his life
