And finding evidence gets added into the items and in turn the court record. But the timing appearances of PL and PW were on the same weightage with one puzzle being like PL but the contents being PW so ye. I can also say this might be cannon. In the AA universe, this might take between T&T and the Gramrye Trial because they are still together in the end

The Investigations Collection has been out for an entire month now, and still nothing. Then again, it is a crossover game, and Level 5 already has all their eggs in their big basket (PL&NWoS), so they wouldn't really have time for a remake.
My favourite Pursuit theme. This was the last Layton game I played and the 4th Ace Attorney game. The soundtrack was freaking amazing. It was a perfect mash-up of the Layton music style and the Ace Attorney music style. And the remixes... THE REMIXES!

This is my favorite pursuit theme for the same reason announcing the truth from dual destinies is my favorite confessing the truth piece. The ominousness. The feeling that even though you've hit a major breakthrough in the case, there's a good chance you won't enjoy what happens next.
I think the best way I can describe this track is "hauntingly beautiful." It's a truly wondrous piece, yet it also gets you pumped up for the action in court that's about to take place. I don't why, but that phrase always pops into my mind. Have a good one all. :)

I have never played a Professor Layton game, so how is this game? I know what the games are like and the combo seems like a perfect match for a Phoenix Wright crossover, but I am not sure how I feel about that concept since Ace attorney plays so much differently than any other game. the gameplay styles of each game don't really "mix" with each other per se. the game splits the professor layton puzzle solving investigations and the ace attorney court room battles into different segments. however, they work well together but it mixes the most intense part of ace attorney's gameplay with, what i assume to be, the best part of the prof layton gameplay. the story can get a little strange and drawn-out at times, but the character interactions pick up on the slack. you're constantly seeing very lovable characters bounce off each other and it's a lot of fun to watch. the animated cutscenes and voice acting are far superior than what was seen in ace attorney: dual destinies. honestly, this game is a real treat and i'd highly recommend it.
It's simpler than that. This game has the genius part of AA (which are trials), and changes the not-so-damn-great part (investigation) by a Professor Layton-ish gameplay. Great as hell.
Renxius K What I love about the character interactions is how well they balanced them. They had Phoenix and Maya meet Layton and Luke, they had Layton and Phoenix interact in the first witch trial and in the following investigation section (A bit less in the investigation section due to the situation) which gave us a sense of how they fit together as friends, Maya and Luke had entire small section devoted to their characterisation together, then a section focusing on the characterisation between Layton and Maya and Phoenix and Luke, before bringing them all together again the end. I feel the person with least characterisation was Espella but that was made up for by effectively the entire game focusing on her backstory and giving her a lot of room for growth. Plus it's understandable why she'd have the least, she was an entirely new character specifically for that game, where as the others were obviously already established in their respective series'. That said, Espella felt by no means under-developed, she just seemed to have the least characterisation out of the 5.
Despite the comment being two years old, I'll express my opinion here. Yes, it's a great crossover. Yes, it captures the main features of both games perfectly. But, as an AA fan, I have to point out (AA pun intended) a flaw. YOU CANNOT REPLAY TRIALS. You can visit all the locations again and again as you wish like in the Layton games, but the trials are only played once. If you want to replay a trial, you have to restart the game.
I don't think it's possible for any past or future cornered theme from any past or future AA game to possibly even remotely come close to beating this.
This is a great pursuit theme. PLvPW is the one Ace Attorney game I haven't played. I just skipped over it after Apollo Justice. Probably worth playing at some point, right?
It’s worth it! The Professor Layton features of the game really put an interesting spin on the Phoenix Wright aspects and vice versa. The two series harmonise pretty nicely with each other and the ways they chose to combine them just make sense lmao

to be honest, in my opinion the Justice for All pursuit theme is kind of a let down. It's alright, but it can't compete with the other pursuit themes. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure there's thousands of people who love the JFA pursuit theme :)
Ehh, just sounds way too busy, like they felt the need to cram every instrument in there. Maybe it's just because this is the only AA game I haven't played, but I'm not a fan of this theme.
There will never be a theme that is universally liked by everyone, so it's normal to have a few outliers. You just happen to be in that outlier concerning this particular track. It's personally my favorite and a lot of people would at least rank it in their top 3. That said, you're allowed to have your own preferences as well, so whatever one is your favorite, throw that shit on the ipod and blast the hell out of it in your car.
This is too slow to even be CONSIDERED a Pursuit theme. What was the sound team thinking when making this theme? It’s great on it’s own, but as a Pursuit theme? No way. A REAL Pursuit theme is 148+ BPM.

In fact, the great ace attorney is at 133. I'm not sure if these are accurate. I tested another website and it says that the bpm is at 138, the one in the first game is at 100, dual destinies is at 136 and the great ace attorney's is at 133. Even then I'm still not sure about the accuracy of that website, but what I want to know is what you think this song's bpm is?

It’s worth it! The Professor Layton features of the game really put an interesting spin on the Phoenix Wright aspects and vice versa. The two series harmonise pretty nicely with each other and the ways they chose to combine them just make sense lmao
Absolutely. I've never played a Professor Layton game, but I quickly fell in love with the characters and overall really enjoyed the game.

If you were to play the game, you'd realize that it's actually quite fitting as the game has a medieval fantasy setting.

to be honest, in my opinion the Justice for All pursuit theme is kind of a let down. It's alright, but it can't compete with the other pursuit themes. But that's just my opinion, I'm sure there's thousands of people who love the JFA pursuit theme :)
Ehh, just sounds way too busy, like they felt the need to cram every instrument in there. Maybe it's just because this is the only AA game I haven't played, but I'm not a fan of this theme.
There will never be a theme that is universally liked by everyone, so it's normal to have a few outliers. You just happen to be in that outlier concerning this particular track.
It's personally my favorite and a lot of people would at least rank it in their top 3.
That said, you're allowed to have your own preferences as well, so whatever one is your favorite, throw that shit on the ipod and blast the hell out of it in your car.

I just now used an online bpm counter with this song and it says that the song is 70 bpm whist the one in the first game is 75. In fact, the great ace attorney is at 133. I'm not sure if these are accurate.
I tested another website and it says that the bpm is at 138, the one in the first game is at 100, dual destinies is at 136 and the great ace attorney's is at 133. Even then I'm still not sure about the accuracy of that website, but what I want to know is what you think this song's bpm is?
