My mom very much reminds me of Sadie's, except she hates to dance. So at our wedding(the same one we cut the cake to "Jam Buds") I ended my toast lipsyncing to "Haven't you noticed I'm a Start" super dramaticly to encourage everyone to dance without worry❤ have I mentioned I love this show? Lmao
I love Sadie's Song because our culture generally glorifies pushing people to stretch and cross their boundaries and frames it as motivational and supportive and helpful and Sadie's Song acknowledges that it can be wrong.
Funny story, but the reason I call myself a process based intuitive artist, instead of a hobby artist, is because if I say the latter everyone tells me I shouldn’t be so hard on myself and I could do more with my art if I wanted to. And it’s those lady four words that they seem to ignore even as they say them. If. I. WANTED. To. But I don’t. Art making is for my own enjoyment and I feel no desire to monetize my hobbies. But I got tired of explaining that so instead I gave myself a title that pretty much means I paint what I want, when I want, and the end result isn’t important to me so long as I has fun making it.
I think you two are pretty amazing I love that your circus performers that is so interesting. I look up to people like you and hope that I can improve my skills as an Entertainer

It's Interesting for you to say that because many people criticize Steven universe thinking it's too episodic for a cartoon series as right now, you actually thought about the cartoon while it was airing, and these two episodes were the best to see the two types of episode the stand alone and the more plot relevant who maybe have mini arcs also around this time while airing from what I know it was very close between episode like new episodes every week for this whole second part of the season and then they started doing the Steven bombs which are basically mini arcs or bunch of episodes every once in a while first it was advertisment probably they saw that it was quite good to release episode like that but it was also a bit counterproductive because some times there were big hiatus and the content of the episodes weren't always as someone expected a lot of fans ranted about this but to be honest is not a problem anymore is not something that you can see and it was meant to be promotion for the show so it's always that fans make their own expectations and they're not right ecc all that there were also trailers so
