So, you all remember that short low-poly animation I made a while back? Well, I extended it...and I've been trying to edit the sounds in ever since.
I think it came out pretty okay. What do you all think? :D (also, read the video description for the short synopsis)

It's really accurate with the details on the characters and you can even see them breathing while flying midair. The sounds also pair up with the animation perfectly and the entire thing doesn't have ONE visible mistake at first glance. I love it!
The emotions are perfect too, like you can even see the bewilderbeast struggle when it got pushed down by the red death

This was actually my version of a battle I imagined before HTTYD 3 came out. I wanted this to be the ending battle of the third film. Glad to see it nicely animated.
That would have been extremely cool. They should’ve included the Bewilderbeast in the final armada battle…

That was SO amazing! I love the idea of Drago's Bewilderbeast and Toothless making amends. I always wondered what happened between them when he was shown in the Hidden World. lol
When I saw him in the third movie for the first time my first thought was like: Uhhhhh, why are you here and rooting for Toothless when he literally broke one of your tusks? LOL
I would call that respect for the Alpha 😎

I love how Toothless called off Drago's Bewilderbeast to prevent him from killing the Green Death. Awesome work with the storytelling aspect! And the animation is honestly very smooth & decent, even for being low-poly. 👌
I think that isn't the Green Death, more like an other Red Death since the Green Death is benign I think
the red death mess with the unholy offspring of lighting and death itself Toothless has been one of the most fearless dragons in existence

The way you blended the different soundtracks is so seamless, I barely even noticed that they were from different movies at first. Correct me if I'm wrong, but did you pick them starting with the first movie and going up? Seeing as it starts with the battle theme of the Red Death and ends with The Hidden World

I love the idea of a freakishly oversized Red Death trying to rise up and fight not only the biggest dragon on earth but also the alpha too.
I actually scaled the dragons in this short to be as accurate as possible to the movies.
When I Googled it, the Red Death came up as 999 ft (304 meters) long, and the Bewilderbeast as 520 ft (158.5 meters) long…and that’s what is says in the Ultimate Guide to the Dragons book. So, I didn’t think my Red Death was THAT oversized 😬
@@fulonimationstudios2408 S’all good. According to the movies developers, the Bewilderbeast is approximately twice the size of a Red Death/Green Death.
But please do not take any of this criticism harshly. This video was amazing and I hope to see more from you.

Actually, you might be surprised to know the red death took me about 30-45 minutes to make and rig. And pretty much the same amount for each of the other characters, except Hiccup. He was tricky 😄

This is super cool! How in the world did you rig their eyes? I've been making low poly models and I always have trouble with the eyes
Welll I used shape keys. One to move the pupils up, one to move them down, one to move to right, one to move to the left, Etc. It was obnoxious to set up, but worth it.
I don't know why, but toothless is like me with my big friends to help me out in fights 😂
