That is a very beautiful axe. Also, what better way to heal from a cold than to enjoy some sunshine out in that beautiful scenery. ❤

"If a man coughs in the forest and no woman is around to hear it, does he still act like he is dying?" The answer must be "no" because this video is great! Takk, Bjørn! 🤣

I am 74 and use a walker but I love tools. My grandfather and grandmother cut their own logs, built their house and barn in New Hampshire. That was home to me with the fondest of memories.

I like the slight curve at the butt end of the handle. A lot of axe makers include those - but many of them are too brutal. Can make it kinda awkward to use. Then again, it is a bit what one is used to.

One definite detraction though, that short handle means you are going to have to get uncomfortably close when dispatching the coming zombies.

I have the same axe. I enjoy it very much. True, a little longer handle would be nice. The short handle lends itself to very easy carry. It works quite well. Beaver craft also has a very nice bushcraft knife as well. Same beautiful hand made quality. Comes sharp, the blade is long enough and thick enough for batoning and other bushcraft work. I think they are both great. Thanks Bjorn. Now, get well.

Buyer beware with these axes. Pot luck as to what quality you will receive.
Mine went straight back as absolute garbage.
Looked like it was forged by a ball pein hammer, cheeks about 13mm thick, looked more like a splitting maul!!!
